Service is extremely slow & incompetent!!! Terrible & unorganised!!! Taking name for every single order even for a single tea !! Wasting time! Totally unacceptable for the amount of staff inside to say 30-35 mins for back of the house orders for a simple fried rice & appetiser & haleem!! I’m sure you are not making everything right at the moment!! I was standing at the counter to find that people ordered after me were receiving their orders from back of the house while my order was just sitting in the kitchen. The girl Maanvi, who was taking orders is very unorganised & irresponsible!!! She doesn’t even care to look at the pending orders!!! Some of the tables were filthy!! And you got 5 to 8 people working and do not bus the tables!! When asked about my order after 30 mins, guy from inside yells out “will take time” & lady comes up & said it would take time. A party of 8 came after me, ordered various items from front and back and even left the restaurant when I was just waiting over there to receive my order. I was sitting there and counting people coming & seeing them receiving their orders. I literately had to wait for 50 mins to receive my order!!! Ordered at 8:45 & received at 9:32!! I am surrounded with 10 different bars & restaurants in walkable distance. 2.5 miles drive to desi district, 7 miles to swadeshi, 6 miles to little India & a bunch of other restaurants on MacArthur in Irving. I do not need to drive 25 minutes to come to receive this kind of bad & irresponsible service & mediocre tasting food!!! Next time will take my business else where. UNACCEPTABLE!!! Coming to food, it has always been a hit or miss. Chowratha fried chicken & pani puri have been consistent. Haleem was thick as paste and with bones & no toppings. Fried rice was just ok!!! Tried pav bhaji (pav was super dry & curry was missing salt & lemon) chicken Frankie (was bland) biryanis, etc. Never bother to come back, but with this service & quality of food totally...
Read moreI went through the drive through to order some chicken curry. When I tried to order naan they told me I would have to come inside for that, which I thought was weird. I pull up to the window to pay and get the food, which didn't take much time at all, however they reiterated that "you have to come inside to get naan". I thought whatever, I will go inside. I go inside to get the naan, and realize I have to order AGAIN to get it: They didn't even take my order at the drive through. I waited 10 minutes for the Naan, that's 9 more minutes than it took to get my entrée. Inside no one checked to see what my order was and I just stood there looking baffled that I had to go inside for a drive through order and wait 10 minutes for naan. On top of that the curry chicken was dry and too spicy to enjoy. The customer service and the staff need to be fixed: It is completely unacceptable to not have naan available via drive thru for a drive thru restaurant, then telling the customer you have to come inside to get naan and wait 10 minutes for it, even if its fresh. If this review seems familiar, its because you reported my last review which had legitimate criticism and I am posting it again so you can actually try and improve your restaurant to be successful.
Edit to Owner's response - This is all legitimate criticism. This is also a real review and not all of these 5 star reviews with no comments. Based on past experience, it seems to me you got all of your friends to give 5 star reviews without posting why they gave 5 star reviews. Seems a little fake to me to inflate your stars on google. My review is real and the criticism is real. Don't give me the "soft opening" excuse for not having your drive thru ready when calling yourself "the First Indian Drive Thru...
Read moreYesterday, myself and my husband went to this restaurant for the first time. We ordered bhel puri, spicy Goni, paneer tikka kebab, egg Briyani and goat keema Briyani.
Bhelpuri (spicy) - less quantity, high price, taste ok.. Spicy gobi (spicy) - less quantity, high price, zero spice. They fried the gobi which they had mixed for Manchurian and gave it to us as spicy gobi.. it was so bland it didn’t even taste like gobi 65. It was too oily too. When I said it was not spicy, the biller said they can only make it medium spice then why do they name it spicy gobi?? She was rude.. if they r too lazy to add some chilly powder to the gobi before frying then why serve it?? Paneer tikka kebab (spicy) - only 6 pieces, no capsicum or onion or tomato, very high price, taste awesome. Best ever. When I asked for mint chutney, the biller answered, no mint chutney today. Why can’t she be nice? Why can’t she say that while taking the order? Both Briyani - quantity is same as other vendors. Price is also like other vendors. Taste was as per our request.. but they looked like pulav snd not Briyani. Cleanliness - very bad. They had stuck stickers on table to self clean after use but we cleaned our table both before and after having food. When we cleaned the table before we sat, no one from the restaurant crew came to us and apologized but kept doing what they were doing. The trash can was overflowing.. No toilet paper in the restroom. The restaurant crew had to learn some basic courtesy and politeness. I saw the biller being polite with an American gentleman who asked for Irani chai but didn’t want to be polite and nice with me. I won’t go back to this...
