Dear Tommy Tamale Team -

I'm writing on behalf of my taste buds that want to THANK YOU for the adventurous, fun, flavorful trip they have been on for the last 4 days...

YOUR TAMALES ARE THE BEST!!!

I've eaten your tamales for breakfast, lunch, dinner....I even skipped dessert and replaced it with a tamale! I had to break the news to my hubby that our household is transitioning from a 20-year tradition of tacos #TacoTuesdays to #TamaleTuesdays - to which he agreed that he will only accept this change if the tamales are Tommy Tamales (Pork or Chicken). To which I agreed "DEAL!!! and we just shook on it!

Then we broke the news to our kids...

So our kids thought we were going a little too far....you know with claiming our love for these AMAZING tamales....but they just tried them (while we stared at them with big smiles and our eyes widened like "See Kids...your parents know best!" to which they took a single bite and were 100% on board with moving forward with Tamale Tuesday! ...and now they want their own stash of tamales!

So...if you're reading this and thinking about trying these tamales... listen up...These tamales are the BESTEST TAMALES I've ever eaten and they will be the BEST you've ever eaten too!!!

My only regret is not knowing about...

Online ordering was convenient and they accept Google Pay. Order was ready when I reached the restaurant and the pick up was a breeze. As I got to my car, an employee ran over with part of my order that was in a second bag. After reaching home I found that the order missed the salsa that I paid extra for. Well, a few misses from an order fulfillment standpoint. I will give this aspect only 2 stars. Lesson learnt to check the order before leaving.

Now the food. The Tommy bowl with the habanero pork tamale and beef tamale was out of the world. This will be my go to place for a tasty bowl. The frozen tamales come with heating instructions and I'm yet to try them. The menu has other interesting options and I can't wait to try them. The restaurant has been on my bookmark for a while now and I'm glad I finally tried it.

Will I return : Oh yeah! But I will check my to-go order ;)

Rating : 5 stars for the food. Took away 1 star for the missed salsa...

Well I heard so many good things about this place that I had to stop in and try it...so I tried 4 different tamales, their rice and beans and salsa. I tried all of their meat tamales and they were fantastic except for their hatch tamales they were out of stock on those there Charro pinto beans had plenty of flavor and they were above average however I did not find their rice to be that great. And I went during an off hour and their rice and beans were not very hot temperature wise... all in all this place seems very friendly and the food was definitely above average I would like to give it another chance during the evening hours and see how the food and crowd compares during that time. I also only got a chance to try one of those Salsa's and would like to try...
