I have been waiting to go here for months! I reached out to Dani & when a spot opened up she communicated with me via text & I took it immediately. It did NOT disappoint. Marcie was AMAZING, I LOVED HER. She made me feel so confident & comfortable in my skin ,my hair. I wear my hair naturally curly/kinky; 3c/4a and it’s fine & I have a lot of hair. She didn’t make me feel self conscious(NOT ONCE), she didn’t make any inappropriate or cringe comments. She actually really boosted me up and she is so passionate & knowledgeable. She was inclusive & I love that. Professional. It was HEAVENLY. I seriously felt like I was in another dimension. I was falling asleep,fully relaxed. I have a really high stressful job & I suffer from migraines, so this was for relaxation self care for me. But it ended up benefiting my SCALP- i had so much build up from product, that after the consultation, scalp treatment with a eye mask to block any light (customized to ur needs/wants), scalp massages with her hands and scalp massage tools , shampooing of my hair - my scalp was CLEAN, my scalp and hair both felt LIGHT & healthy. Your scalp is skin. It needs to be cared for just like any part of your body. I love that they use organic products. You have the room to yourself, no outside noises, smelt heavenly. Some of what she used I believe was peppermint, thyme, rice mud, clay && i don’t know what else but it smelt like heaven & made my scalp feel soooooo good. From she touched my scalp with the scalp masque treatment she made- I felt instantly relaxed. The chair is so comfy and you get blankets on the chair and to cover you. It is so cozy. I didn’t want to leave and go back to reality haha lol. I also got my curly hair diffused (that was part of the service included if you wish). I love wearing my hair naturally curly/ kinky/ texturized, so anywhere that encourages that- which is against the grain and “norm”; I will support 1000% Men, women of all hair types, no hair/ bald are all welcomed to scalp care ! It’s a luxury service with amazing customer service. I already made my returning appointment with Marcie! I left there feeling confident and relaxed! I'm going to give this salon a 3/5 because I know they deliver on their quality of work. However, I had booked an appt for 2/10 as a Christmas present for my aunt. We confirmed the appt and were looking so forward to it. I live about 1.5 hours away so we were 9 minutes away when I got a text saying that our stylist had a family emergency and she had to cancel our appt. I understand that emergencies happen and I'm not upset about that at all. I texted her back saying no problem and that I hoped everything was okay. We understood and made the drive back home. The stylist said she would reach out to me to book my next appt.

Fast forward 2 weeks. I reached out via instagram as that is how I made the appt in the first place. First, I had to reach out after waiting for 2 weeks. Second, they made no effort to help squeeze us in earlier. As my schedule is limited I was only able to do weekends and I understand that they book up the quickest but again I had this appt booked since December and now I have to wait till April to get in. That didn't sit right with me. I used to be a hair stylist and anytime I had an emergency I made sure to get my clients in ASAP even if I had to go into the salon on my day off.

It's really unfortunate that we couldn't go to this appt to relax and instead had an unprofessional experience. I was really looking forward to it as there aren't many head spas in...

Wow! Just wow! The atmosphere, energy, and vibe here is just wonderful. 1/3/25 is my birthday today and I made this appointment on Nov. 10th, 2024 , reaching out via Instagram for this day specifically! I believe they had followed me on Instagram , and I knew it was a sign to make an appointment with them. Maurie (which I think that’s how you say her name) was super sweet and professional , explaining what she’s doing, and even educating me on hair and stress levels of it! We talked a lot for the whole service it just felt so relaxing. Fun fact: they give you a complementary face mask and lip mask if it’s your birthday! I booked a 90 min service, which included the service and the blow dry(she added the curls as a treat) SEE PIC FOR DETAILS
