I would give this place 0 stars if it allowed me. Worst experience at a movie theatre that I have ever had. We purchased 4 Lux seats, when we got there 1 of the seats didn't even exist. We complained and a young man tried he best to help us and gave us other seats to sit in (not lux), he tried to reserve them for us so they wouldn't be purchased by someone else. The young man also made a comment that "they always be selling seats that don't even be there" (that should have been the red flag for me). While we waited, someone then purchased those seats and we had no where to sit. I walked up to the manager FRANK who was very passive and rude and ignored me at first and wouldn't even look me when I was talking to him. He basically stated the issue was my fault there is nothing he could do, I asked for a refund and he said no and that I could see a later movie, but it was already 9PM and the movie is 2.5 hours long. My husband saw me upset and pointed out the fact the other staff member that was trying to help us with the seats didn't know what he was doing and that the manager wasn't trying to help him to help us and that he was not trying to resolve our issue. Clearly that upsetted the manager so he asked another manager to call the police on us. Now I am here at a movie theatre with my husband and my 3 black children and we now have a police officer in our faces because the manager didn't want to resolve the issue nor talk to us, after talking for only 1 minute. This was very traumatic for my family, we were supposed to be spending quality time watching a movie, and now I have a fully armed police officer in front of my family. Luckily the officer was very nice and understanding and he himself didn't understand why he was called. Then when we were in front of the officer all of a sudden Frank's tone changed and offered us free passes. I've seen stuff like this before happening to other people where people are all rude and tough and then call the police and then act innocent, I couldn't believe it. Of course I would never come back there so I turned those passes down. The Assistance manager Yience stepped in and gave us refunds and apologized and was very nice trying to defuse the situation, and Frank just walked away like nothing happened leaving the burden on his assistant. Frank was very rude and unprofessional, I pray this establishment gets a better manager. I will never step foot in...
Read moreMy boyfriend and I had re-admission tickets to the theaters because of a sound problem on the movie we went to watch a week ago. I thought “Rated R” Movies are for 18+ but after tonight it seems like they don’t even check your ID and kids go in and cause disturbance when they sit next to adults .Tonight, we went to watch doctor sleep around 7:10 pm and sat down to our corresponding seats. 20 minutes into the movie or so, a group of teenagers came in demanding we get out of our seats, in a disrespectful manner not even showing us their tickets in a civil manner. We told them we payed for these seats, then I went up to the front to call whoever is in charge and then they came and the teenage boys continued being disrespectful to us. In the end my boyfriend was sitting in the wrong seat but he didn’t know because we checked and we thought we sat in the right seat. We got up and left, I was crying because of the way they were letting these teenage boys disrespect us and then when outside the theater not near these boys they apologized to us and said they know they were rude but during the moment inside the theater didn’t even consider the disrespect towards us adults. I recommend any adult not to go watch movies before 10 pm because the teenagers don’t have their bed time til then. It’s very sad how some people are raising their kids in not teaching them the right way to talk to people when it all could’ve been solved by them showing the tickets and saying “hey excuse me we have our tickets”, instead of looking at us disrespectfully and saying “Yo move that’s my seat” and then escalating to worse manners. Never coming back here I regret growing fond of this place even the staff can’t make up for it. We were already having a bad day as it is and we just wanted to relax and enjoy a peaceful date night. But seriously don’t come when high schoolers are there BIG TURNOFF! Another thing, they were really loud/obnoxious next to us ,couldn’t enjoy the movie at all after they came in almost half an hour into the movie. The boys who talked down on us were white, and my boyfriend is Asian, and I’m Hispanic ..sounds like...
Read moreI really love this place especially when it use to be franks theaters, been coming here for years but i just experienced literally the worst theater ever. Came to watch a movie with my family, we watched the pope exorcists, really good movie definitely watch it. 20 mins into the movie these group of people would not stop talking at all to the point where everyone is literally shushing each other and i decided to speak loudly with respect if they can please be quiet cause im trying to watch a movie. That didnt work so i decided to go talk to the manager about the situation cause im tryna have a goood time n i know others as well. Let him know that hey these people literally wont stop talking can you please address it. I pointed to where the side conversatios was coming from. Im not gonna stand there and watch him y’know tell them to please be quiet so i went back to where i was sitting thinking he did something.... NOPE they didnt do anything. They kept talking and talking and turning on they flash. I was already half way into the movie so there was no point into getting a refund or asking to watch a movie a different time. If a customer is complaining about people talking and i know y'all probably had many occasions on that. Literally do something cause its not fair to me and other people who are just trying to enjoy the movie. Please next time address the problem, i hope i never...
