I DO NOT RECOMMEND. Over the past years quality of how they buy has diminished. Very dull personalities with non welcoming tone. This use to be my favorite place but I canāt say the same anymore. Clothing price expensive for used items yet the amount of which they give you to sell is way below the average get our price. Giving you $1 for an name brand item then pricing it above $10.. Youāre better off going to the Plantation location or Boca. Even with changing locations the company has the same lack of quality. Took away the whole value of the company standards. You might as well shop at the mall for new items than to put spend on used items for the same price.

Even your response as the owner is very tacky. I was very nice to the young lady that checked in she asked me if I sold to Platoās before & I said yes i use to be a manger a long time ago & I understand you can take whats trendy for the store & reassured her that it was ok, I did not know that offended her I was not rude at all. If she felt offered I would of rather her called you over to clear the air but instead you decided to take her feelings and treat me as a customer badly. You had a VERY blunt offensive disrespectful manner when handling me. I never leave reviews but the way you made me feel was NOT OK. It didnāt matter how much you gave for the clothing ig was how your treated me at checkout very cold & unwelcoming & i never once gave you an attitude or cause any issues. I always try to shop & support the business & I did not feel welcomed at all. Platoās meant a lot to me I practically grew up in the business so I hold it at a high standards regardless of whatever location. I always vouch for people to support & shop there. But after my encounter I will never step foot in your location. Even your response Is very...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThe plus side is that so far on each visit they buy some of my items. However, I'm not quiet clear on the process of their picking and value per item... Its like some hidden secret, which I think Platos Closet as a whole should re-evaluate and provide a visual monetary payout scale regarding brands and styles. I think that would greatly enhance the customer experience.
My first experience the young girl who checked my items was very friendly and personality wise suited for that environment. My second experience it was a more visually mature women who checked my items and I asked while she looked at the items if I could fold them back as I bought them in, she coldly said it would take to much time and continued sorting my bag behind the counter on the floor and throwing my cloths back in the bag. It would of taken no time for me to place my items in a bag in the manner I had bought them him. That was unprofessional and disrespectful. That experience was not warm or friendly or fun, it was cold. Fashion is suppose to be fun and so in that environment you want to relate that to your customers as well as your passion for the...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreBought a micheal kohrs jumpsuit and when I got it gone the entire zipper was pulled out in it. Called in immediately and the girl who answered told me to bring it back and to bring my ID and in would be given store credit. The manager (some old lady) tells me I canāt bring it back without having a receipt and the tag needs to be on it. I took all my tags off to wash them when I noticed the zipper wasnāt able to be used. I Do no recommend wasting your time at this crapsignment store and find someone who has a nice manager and not a nasty unfriendly lady who tries to act like a manager. Iāve been in many playtos closets and this one is by far the biggest joke Iāve ever seen in my life. Poor way to do business!
Edit: the āresponse from ownerā says everything you need to know about the business! Stay...
