The Coffeeshop — Restaurant in Cornelius

Came here last month and had a good time. Server came and took my card to start a tab, I signed my name and the total ended up being $55. We participated in gingerbread decorating and those didn’t end up being on my tab but I assumed that was because no one else participated and no prize was won (it was advertised to be this whole gingerbread competition and it ended up being just us doing it) This whole past month I’ve been calling and leaving messages because they charged me 3 times, all different prices each time. The only people with me were my mom and sister and we all left at the same time so I know they did not add anything to my tab after I left. Since they never would answer my calls I fought with my bank for my money back. They said they could not give it to me and provided me with photos of the receipts from thigs showing I signed all of them. The $55 you can clearly see is my signature, the other one is a curved line. I clearly was not the one who signed those. Not sure what to do since no one will pick up the phone or call me back from the messages...

Updating my review based on the last 3 times I’ve been to Thigs.

I have spent the past 4-5 months regularly swinging by Thigs with friends and family for cocktails. However, the past month the vibes have 180 degrees changed. The staff are always cleaning up giving the vibes they want you to leave, music is either too loud or not working, lights are always too bright, cocktails still fab but no heart behind the presentation anymore…list go on and on.

It makes me sad but I don’t feel comfortable going here anymore.

Thigs is an understated classy, chic cocktail bar in LKN open until midnight. Delicious craft cocktails on the menu or bartenders will create a concoction to your taste preferences.

Live music, fun bartenders, sexy ambiance, good vibes all around.

Spent my NYE here and had a blast, loved the late night dancing!

So the cocktails are absolutely perfect, great bartenders. The atmosphere is like they bought a bunch of stuff on temu and it's all just the wrong size and the lights are just the wrong color temperature and to everyone claiming it's a great date spot, let's be real, no one is flattering in children sized chairs and spotlighted booths that are higher than the children size chairs.

I'm embarrassed for them for these chairs. Please you could spend a few hundred and get chairs in that style that are actually for adults and please dim the lights or if you cannot please get some lower lumen output. It is a cocktail bar, doesn't need bright spotlights raking down the faces of people trying to cozy up on a date.

We only stayed for one before heading out to a cozier spot. I hope they can find adult size...
