We faced the dilemma most small, but growing, businesses face - needing serious IT support but not having the time or expertise to do it in-house (none of us got into business to network computers or set up a firewall). We first tried a local "communications" business that sold us a server, firewall & telecom bundle that was way (!!) overpriced and and too complicated for us to use. And charged us for every support phone call - even if they couldn't resolve our issue!!! A business contact suggested Travis & We Handle Tech. After our previous experience I was seriously skeptical. We Handle Tech isn't overly cheap but we had learned the hard way that the IT world runs on billable hours; Travis' flat fee per work station seemed too good to be true. But we took the leap, upgraded all our computers and used his telecom supplier. It has only been 6 weeks but that has been long enough for us to work out a lot of kinks and even have a couple emergencies. Our experience so far has been quite remarkable. They actually answer the phone when you call and even an after-hours emergency was addressed by 2 (of their 3 person team) within the hour. And they were honest with me that they might not be able to fix the issue (fortunately they did). Both my husband and I rely on We Handle Tech for keeping the PCs' response time excellent, virus protection, and, in this last year, transition to new PCs. Jake did a great job migrating all of my data to the new PC and installing the new Microsoft suite and Quicken. In addition, he was available for follow-up questions and accessed the PC online to update a few additional things such as a printer I have always had issues with. The whole process was easy. I highly recommend this team!
Terrific job, Travis and Chad. My PC had gradually gotten slower until it could not open any apps or even Google Chrome. We Handle Tech fixed it within 24 hours, identifying that disk segments were going bad. This was handled under my routine maintenance contract which, so far, in the last 9 months has included the following services for me personally, and has proven a good value: tuneup for performance, constant monitoring for virus protection, installation of Windows 10 and new version of Quicken, and this last incident, where the PC was virtually inoperable.
