Hello, I was hesitant to share my experience with this company, because I did like the owner. However what I learned recently was too much. To be clear, I harbour no ill will towards these people today. Nevertheless, Some of you may not want to support a buisness like this.

I was the Head chef and Kitchen manager for this establishment, from day 1 of the kitchen being open. I was the one who opened their kitchen. Guided them on everything food standard and safety related. And fed every single person that ate here since food has been served. I thankfully had some help from one of their greatest employees, we will call him the GOAT. But for the most part it was all up to me to make sure the kitchen ran. I would also served the bar whenever their extremely hard working bartender would not be scheduled (underscheduling and underpaying is a trend for all his employees.) I cooked, I served, I bartened, and started to manage their cafe and kitchen. I agreed to anything and everything, with pride. I never got one complaint from a customer. Everything I did, I did very well.

This was all in an effort to earn a "full time" position at his buisness. After 7 months of him going against our initial agreement of full time employment after 2 months, I was finally given a "full time schedule." Only because I told them I had to look for other work in order to support myself and my gf. The owner Hani, told me to please stay, that he needed me by his side and he would take care of me. You see he treated me like his family, like he does his entire staff. He would tell me to come to him and talk to him like I was his family if I ever needed anything (important for context.)

So I asked him if he wants me to stay, allow me a liveable amount of hours, to which he agreed. He told me 40 hours a week, which instead was strategically skimmed down 5/6 hours a week for two weeks down to just under 35 hours. I told him I needed more than that and that wasn't his agreement with me (yet again.) He proceeded to have a conversation with me after my first "full time paycheck" about how it would be cheaper to hire two teenagers at below minimum wage than keep me on at $20. I told him I'd do anything to continue to work their (foolish of me.) He agreed if I were to do much more for him. I agreed.

I have my two days off. I come in on 4th of July. The manager hands me hot dogs to cook the crew. I made them for everyone. They cut everyone 3 hours into the shift. And Hani the owner had the manager, over the phone hand me a paper. Telling me I have been cut due to budget reasons. I was angry. I left peacefully. Although the words I sent him were anything but. I Felt betrayed, lied to, and thrown to the side the second it wasn't convenient to keep me just days after he said I was fine.

THAT was not the end of the story. As I found out recently. They are looking for another cook. Likely to take advantage of him as he did me for the next 8 months until he needs more. ON top of this, he knows where I work, and asked my coworker if she knows any cooks who need a job.

To make it all worse. He was caught skimming checks multiple times. And all the credit card tips I got at the bar went to him. Because he made me use his loggin, instead of giving me my own. He would also treat the woman far worse then the men.

Pictured below or above, idk. Thanks for reading, I truely loved it...

Not really what I expected. Nothing special about this place, minus the "rides" VR attraction they have. Even then, the quality of picture and sound of the programs they have are very outdated.. especially when you take into consideration how dirty/dingy the headset screens are. Brought my 5 year old son, who is very fluent with meta quest 3's. The controllers and headsets they have are very bulky, can't really fit in his hands, plus there are 2 different kinds. Even then, the controllers would be broken/malfunctioning, or you can't walk in the game for whatever reason, or the controller is making you walk by itself and the worker is telling you to just combat it by moving the stick opposite. The amount of games they have available on the consoles is very minimum, basically just all the free to play games (fortnite, apex, etc). Everytime you walk up to a machine or want to change something, a worker HAS to help you.. and will literally yell at you from across the store to make sure that happens. They have 4 Mario cart stations, one seat didn't move up, all of the steering wheels felt loose and old. At some point, there was a party that started, so they just roped off the tables and asked us to move our stuff. Many PC's available, same issue.. all free to play games that one could just do at home.

This seems like a VR place for someone who wants to try VR for the first time and cant afford a $300 headset. Food offerings looked good, but I didn't get a chance to try them because I had to coach my son, not through the ins and outs of the game, but how to access them and figure out why things weren't working correctly (just a hint, it's most likely because something is broken).

I expected to be able to play with him, even paid to do so, but all I got in was a round of fortnite while he messed around on the PlayStation. So definitely don't come here thinking your going to get bonding time with your son, nothing is...

I just had my son’s birthday there and they were incredibly horrible at hosting. They didn’t even announce singing happy birthday to my son and all the kids weren’t surrounding him and no adults had any idea. The guy was waiting for me to run the show. They didn’t make it exciting or fun which my son is upset about as he has seen his friend have exciting energy and dance parties singing happy birthday. We have been to many birthdays here and this was a different host than we usually see on the weekends. No free cards were passed out as we have received at every other attended party either and the guy blew me off when I asked like I was dumb. They called me multiple times regarding payment actually it felt like harassment after I booked and I told them I will pay when we get closer to the party as it was a ways out and they called and texted multiple times when I had my invoice and knew when it was due which was weird to begin with yet they don’t want to be accommodating as a staff. I will never throw a birthday here again with such an unaccommodating staff as well as all of my guests who have had parties here as well and couldn’t believe how awful the staff was especially the host. $600 for no customer service nor energy to make my kid feel special for his birthday. This is infuriating to say the least. If I wanted to do it all myself I wouldn’t have paid for a party here....
