I want to brag on Aventine. They have been so great to us from the get go. The move in was super easy and stress free. THE UNIT WAS SO CLEAN WHEN WE MOVED IN!!

They are renovating, yes, and what needs to be understood about that is that there may be a leak or two.. maybe they shut off the water for a bit.. I have not gone a day where they didn't send in a notice about a cut off. Yes, inconvenient.. but it's part of renovations!...maybe it's a little noisy... power tools tend to make noises.. but IT COMES WITH THE TERRITORY!! There is absolutely no reason to be so UPSET and bash this property over something they are working diligently to make better. If you can't understand this and take it into consideration, don't move in. JS. They don't need the negativity because you expect construction to be done in a super short amount of time in many many units. That would mean taking short cuts and not doing things properly which is why there are so many properties that are in horrible shape in this city. It takes time. If you were building your own home, you would want it done right the first time, am I correct? And it would take a while.. They are also older buildings, so they are going to need work. That's a given. If you move in knowing they are renovating, you need to understand these things and bear with them.

FYI: These are apartments. They're gonna be a little noisy, yes. That's apartment life. The office staff has been great with disturbances, though, and getting it under control. Take into consideration EVERYTHING they do in the office.. hundreds of residents, issues to make sure they correct, things to do for upkeep. They ARE doing their best and that' all you can ask of anyone. I'm sorry, not sorry, but you're not the ONLY person living here.. there are others, so it takes time to get to a work order sometimes.. if it's urgent, they WILL prioritize.. just COMMUNICATE!! And be patient. These contractor guys are working their butts off for LONG hours to make these apartments nice.. and stepping in to help with any other repairs around the property. The work they have done on the water lines have already cut our water bill down by about $30 a month!! That's a tank of gas or small bill!! And I am sure it will improve more the further along they get. They do the work correctly the FIRST time they come into the unit.. and they know what they are doing. Unlike other places we have lived here in CC, they do not take shortcuts.. that's a whole other story.. I have a renovated unit and we LOVE it!! It is very nice. We plan on staying here as long as possible.

I recommend Aventine. We looked at a lot of places before making our decision and they stuck out because of the hard work they are OBVIOUSLY putting in to the property. We didn't see this effort anywhere else they were "renovating" or under new management. They are on top of ANY issues that arise in a very quick manner. They are working hard to make it safer, too! Vanessa and Emily in the office (Everyone, really, but these are the two I speak with the most) are sweethearts and do everything they can to make sure everything is going well for us, and are quick to resolve ANY issues we may have.

laundry mat is horrible, almost every washer/dryer is always out of order or they just dont work right, there is no reason why i should have to ring out my clothes before i put them in the dryer and there is no good reason why some of my clothes come out burned or not dried right

the maintenance, they take forever to fix something, usually take weeks-months to respond to a work order, and then when they do come they dont fix anything correctly

the price does not match the quality, too much for bad quality apartments.

they shut the water off all the time for god knows what and sometimes they dont even give notice, been too many times ive not been able to finish a shower. oh and btw every good review is either paid for by them or just liars or people who have probably lived in worse which is...

If you’re looking at these just don’t! They lie and will do the most to get money out of you. The water is constantly getting cut off and the workers here and genuinely the rudest people I’ve ever come in contact with. There was one good staff employ (Dina!!) and just come to find out she doesn’t work there anymore.. Everything in my apartment was always not working, my floors were always flooding from the sink or dishwasher. Even when it rained in got into my apartment. Later on found out that there was leaking pipes in my walls and they never attempted to fix them (sounds like a mold issue waiting to happen) I finished my lease and it was so difficult to afford. Rent is not as cheap as they make it out to be. Just save your time and money and go...
