New Harbor Bridge — Local services in Corpus Christi

The southbound side of the new bridge opened up yesterday, June 28, 2025 -- and it absolutely TOWERS above the old Harbor Bridge. At its peak, the new bridge's driving surface is as high up off the water as the old Harbor Bridge is tall -- and that's counting the latter's entire structure, archway included. Going south, it spits you onto the Crosstown Expressway, whose junction with I-37 is also getting upgraded. This bridge had taken over 7 years to build. From the few drives going over the old bridge, I think they are opening due to the PRESSURE of the city. I pray everything goes well on June 28, 2025, at the ribbon cutting.
