Sea Treasures — Local services in Corpus Christi

Nice shop to grab beach gear and souvenirs! More tourist trap style than locals for sure. Fairly similar products to some of the other gift shops with beach gear that we have been to so far. Nothing that appeared to be locally made originals or very unique. Perfect stop after the museums nearby. Was looking specifically for local post card to buy but their racks (i think there were two total for postcards vs greeting cards) were near empty. So the four options were not what i was looking for this time. Maybe when fully stocked though. Lots of nick-knacks, jewelry, souvenir magnets etc., beach towels, beach-wear, sand castle building sets, hats, visors, sandals, sunglasses, water-shoes, tees, cover-ups and toys. All ages...

I recently visited Corpus Christi, TX for Valentine's Day weekend. As I walked around I stumbled across a little shop called, Treasures by the Sea. I spent quite a bit of money in this small shop. One of the items I bought was an expensive chime. The chime was defected and the other items were of very poor quality. I called the owner for a refund and her attitude was rude, and she said I am to busy for you as a customer. The owner has no attention on backing her faulty products. I simply asked for my money back and the owner hung up on me. I attempted twice to communicate with the owner, and it is apparent she in a very unprofessional business owner. I would not be surprised to see this sad...

This place is not good. I guess u got to be a local or friend of the owner to be treated with some decency at this place. Manager told us very rudely they were about to close and if we didnt come in knowing what we wanted, they opened again in the morning.. it was 10 mins b4 close when this happened.. continued to stare at us the whole time we stayed. I was shocked bc we walked in with nothing but smiles. I would think coming from an area almost destroyed a year ago by ahurricane, this place would want an easy sell. But from our experience, def not the case. I suggest u find another place to...
