I was practically assaulted tonight ( evening of May 16th) by a Cottage Grove MN Kohls employee while I shopped with my 3 kids ( 17mo old, 4 year old and 7 year old). I originally seen the employee working behind the counter while I made a return with a different employee. I noticed her because she kept glaring at my boys and giving them dirty looks while they played with some comment cards placed in a bin for customers to fill out. I noticed the snarls so I quickly shoed my kids away from them because I could tell she was looking for someone to yell at. (my kids are awesome well behaved kids. We just got done eating out and they were excited to go to the playground after â that we never made it to. And they were doing NOTHING wrong when I made my return.) RegardlessâŠ.. 20 minutes later I was in the purse section and thought I spotted a good deal. After all I just opened a Kohls charge and was pretty excited about it. While I checked the tag on the purse my 4 year old was making faces at himself in the mirror when the same snarling lady appeared from no where yelling loudly at my son âSTOP SPITTING ON MY MIRRORSâ I did not respond very nice because my son was doing ABSOLUTELY NOTHING WRONG and was not purposefully spitting on any mirrors. He was simply being 4 and passing the time while I TRIED to shop in your store. I told her to basically buzz off, I will parent my kids when necessary, donât tell them what to do and said it wasnât her business. She YELLED, âIT IS MY BUSINESS. THIS IS !MY! STORE (as she pointed to her name tag?) AND I HAVE TO CLEAN THAT MIRROR!!!!!â she was irate!! (I thought ok, I guess I wont buy a purse â you guys can save yourself some windex and elbow grease?) I could not believe how she was acting so I told her to get a manager 4 times and she refused. eventually she pointed to the front counter and said get one yourself. She didnât like what I had to say to that and she got into my face, forcefully pushing her body into mind and kept yelling into my face! Unless my kid is doing something wrong in your store (stealing, shoplifting, damaging your stuff) no one(especially an employee while I try to shop) has the right to be a complete Ahole to my kid and yell at them or tell them what to do. Regardless of whatever the situation at NO POINT should Kohls stand behind an employee who tries to physically confront a customer!!!!!!!!!!!!! Are you kidding me?? Not ONE apology from anyone tonight. The MOD, Tammy(?), was VERY rude and mean! She could not have cared less! Completely APPALLED! So I decided to call the cops because although there was not much, if any in someone elses eyes, of a physical altercation. I STILL FELT ASSAULTED! I was shaken up and my kids were scared! Atleast the customers who shop at kohls are nice because they are the only ones I got apologies from tonight. Customer after customer came up to me making sure I was ok and how messed up that was! Tammy completely overlooked everything these customers had to say as well and didnât give them the time of day. Is this how you guys run a store? Run around and nitpick at mothers kids who are tying to shop??? Then let an employee act this way and do NOTHING??? COMPLETELY BLOWN AWAY THAT NO ONE IN YOUR...
Read moreNever will I ever spend another penny at kohlâs ever again. I had an incident where I accidentally threw my keys and headphones away at their front entrance as I walked in. I realized it and noticed they had already emptied the trash. I went back and everyone was very helpful until the manager came who was VERY not helpful. My keys were in the trash compactor and I had a location device on them that was playing a sound and telling me they were within 5 feet the manager refused to even attempt at using the tool he had to fish it out. When I knew this guy would be no help I asked if I could have the number of the dumpster company and the manager refused and said he didnât have it. I asked when they come pick up the trash he said he didnât know and they come randomly. He wanted me and this problem to just go away. the âmanagerâ unhelpful unfriendly and unapologetic the only time he apologized is when he knew for sure that I had given up on it then he got really happy and friendly. It doesnât stop there I tried to contact Kohlâs corporate to help me or make a formal complaint good luck with that because they make it impossible to do so. They give you an option on the phone but it just circles back to the options all over. They literally give you the run around. They give you an option to make a complaint as an employee for sexism, racism etc so I went at route it brought me to a third party that was a woman at her house doing dishes and after telling her my situation she said she couldnât help me (shocking!!) it doesnât stop there since Kohlâs was prohibiting me from getting my property I thought I would call the police department and they said that they also couldnât help. I think this is just the way all corporations are heading. No help, no real customer service, absolutely no help to their customers. This one trip to kohlâs to just return an item and buy a rug ended up costing me about $600. Never ever will I EVER spend another penny at khols and I will tell anyone that wants to listen to...
Read moreI went shopping at 8:30am and there was maybe 5 people in the store all together. When I went to the checkout with Shirley there was only 1 person in front of me with 20 items. Shirley proceeded to talk about every single item the customer bought. After 10 minutes of ringing up everything Shirley realized she forgot to scan a coupon at the beginning and told the customer she would have to start over. By then there were 5 people in line. The customer said she will just take it to customer service to get it corrected. When it was my turn Shirley proceeded to do the same thing with my 5 items. When she got to my gift cards she told she was going to put them in a little bag. I told her she can just put them with the rest. Shirley started taking out the bag and told me it's just a little bag to which I told her she can just put the cards in the big bag. Shirley then told me that she didn't want the cards to be lost and proceeded to put the cards in a little bag. Not only was I upset with an errand that should have on my been 10 minutes took me a half an hour but also that the employee argued with me on the EXTREMELY...
