I have to say, I was pretty jazzed to try this place out. And now I can say that I will not go back. I want to start with the positive. The one positive. The one and only positive. Our server was great. He was right on time with everything and very attentive. He was the best part of our experience. As far as the atmosphere, I will say it's very festive but the music seemed to be stuck on repeat and kept playing the same thing over and over and over. It's enough to drive a person bonkers. Now on to the drinks. We had the Jalapeño Margarita. The size was fantastic, I will say that. But, it wasn't spicy. We were really looking forward to a little zip. Nada. Nothing. Zip. Not only that, when the bill came, it was $17! $17 for a margarita?! Ridiculous. Now as you're reading this, you might be saying, "why didn't you look at the price?" Great question, there's no prices on their menu. Awesome. Let's talk about the food. We asked for the queso to come with the extremely small amount "salsa." The queso was $8. I will tell you, that it is not worth it. The quality of the salsa is basically just runny tomato paste with some onions and cilantro. But let's get onto the main courses. Presentation was just lacking. It looked bland. But the presentation matched the flavor. I was really excited when I ordered and was just left high and dry the quality of the food. The check came to $67 for queso, a margarita, and two entrées. That's two people. Not worth it. I'm happy to say that I tried the place. But won't be back. I hope this helps. Cheers.

First, I was definitely surprised with how fun and festive the interior was, especially considering it used to be a Perkins. The space was also huge, which was good considering it was practically at capacity even at its generous size. First and foremost, I deviayed from the standard margarita, and holy moly, did I ever make the right choice! I had the vampiro, which is quite possibly one of the best drinks I've ever had. Ever. 10 out of 10 recommend. It was like a Paloma, but savory and with tajin. YUM! I had the Michelada next, which had intriguing flavor combinations, but not necessarily something I felt the need to try again. The service was mediocre, but not notably bad. We tried the chori-queso dip, which was phenomenal, but the main courses were a bit of a miss for us. My husband said his burrito was bland and dry. I got the fajitas jalisco, and it tasted like I was licking a used charcoal briquette. In all fairness, I don't actually know that I've had restaurant fajitas to compare it to, but it tastes like they hadn't washed the plates since the store opened. The spanish rice, on the other hand, was phenomenal. If I had ordered an entire plate of just rice and nothing else, I would have been thrilled. Overall, the experience was good enough for me to want to go back and give them a second chance, but we will definitely be trying different menu options next time.

I was hoping to avoid an online complaint so I did call in but no manager available and I doubt they will call me back based off the lackluster vibe from the employee who took my complaint and could hardly muster out an apology or any resolution. Came in for lunch to go order was originally going to order just rice and beans but saw they had the taquitos Mexicanos so tried that. Got home and was severely disappointed. The meat was a brick. Soooooo dry guys and I mean it. Beef jerky had more tenderness than this. They said it was shredded beef but it was just thick cut chunks and they deep fried it to an unpleasant crisp (see photos below) they couldn’t even be bothered to cut the tomato? My question is what the heck happened to this place? It used to be good, fresh presentable. Now this is the third time in a row I’ve been so disappointed. I’m actually for sure done coming here. Please do better: the staff is also not friendly. Last time I was in they shorted me on change! Why ? When you upcharge .75$ to use a card I paid you cash to avoid further charges and due to probably laziness staff didn’t want to get the correct change so you shorted me and you kept the upper hand. Anyone reading this please avoid this establishment. Better Mexican food to be had elsewhere with much friendlier service and proper ethical business practices.

Went in to get some dinner, the person who waited on me barely understood English, asked for a sweet tea, she brought me unsweetened. When I asked for a sweet tea again and informed her that the tea was unsweetened, she replied, "we don't have, only raspberry tea." Had I known that I would have just simply changed my drink ordered altogether. But here we were... Ordered a small queso(which was extremely salty), as it was just me dining in, she brought me a large(I had no idea until she brought the bill) as this was my first AND LAST time visiting this establishment. How was I to know what their large or small dish looked like. It's different everywhere you go. I ordered a grilled chicken quesadilla which was drowning in grease. And asked that instead of all of the veggies and the setup of lettuce sour cream and guac, could she please substitute that for a side of rice. Oh no, "I have to charge you" she says...? It's unreal. I asked for a to-go cup for my $2.85 drink, the cup that was brought out was so small it didn't even fit the entire drink. I mean I paid almost 3 dollars for it can I bring it with me. Sheesh...just truly disgusted with this place. 👎👎👎 roughly $34 tab just for 1 person. When I asked her about being charged for the large queso instead of the SMALL that I asked for, she replied that I ate it, and that I didn't say anything about it when she brought the large out. Again, how was I to know if it was large or small. Why did you bring a large if I asked you for a small.. I'm still trying to make sense of it🤔 Don't worry, I absolutely will NOT be back. ✌️ 0 out of 10 DO NOT...
