I'm not sure what happened tonight because usually they're all very nice over there, but the service just sucked tonight. My mom an I both placed mobile orders at around the same time while my dad and I were out shopping. My mom sent me a screenshot of the confirmation with an ETA. When we go to the drive thru, they were decently busy, but not the busiest I've ever seen them when they've turned off mobile ordering. When we got to our turn at the window, they said they only had 1 of our mobile orders and couldn't find my mom's in their system. They ushered us out of line (which makes sense as they were getting busier). We parked over by the motel and let my mom know what happened. She sent over more screenshot proving the order went through and took the payment. I went up to the window while my dad stayed by our truck and the cashier did not seem happy that I was back. They tried to find the order, but couldn't and then the manager came up. She was also confused as their system didn't say there was an order (yet my mom has confirmation, it's the correct store, and the money pulled from their account?). She ended up calling the owner to see what he could do. She was on the phone for a bit and then when she finally got off the phone, she said the owner couldn't find the order. During this time, my mom sent over a screenshot that said her order was canceled (how could a nonexistent order be canceled). I tried to tell her that i would just reorder at the window, but she wouldnt have that. She seemed to really want to make sure we knew what happened. She said that she was going to go grab her phone and when she came back, lo and behold the owner did find the order and sent over a blurry picture of it (I didn't think it existed in the system, so how could the owner find the order if it didn't exist). Apparently, something in that picture meant that the funds didn't go through. Only after she showed us that picture did she say we could either go through the app or make the order again at the window. We were cold and tired and just wanted to go home, so we just ordered and paid for it again, but it felt like the manager was hell-bent on proving us wrong for whatever reason. Read moreSo we ordered 1 large Heath blizzard, 1 turle blizzard with extra chocolate syrup, 1 cone. First off we were told that the Heath was the turtle and the turtle was the Heath, so we started eating them, realized they were wrong, not the worst. But the Heath was not Heath it was Snickers. My sister got the turtle which she was fine with, but the snickers was not what I wanted. So I went to the window to explain. EVERYONE was helpful, expect this one women in particular, I explained to her what happened, said we are fine with the turtle blizzard but did not want the Snickers, she looked it up and said well you ordered a Heath and was given a Heath, I said no we were given a Snickers she did not believe me, I said I know the difference between the candy... She asked other employees and they stated that a Heath was made. I said well no its not, then she had the audacity to say to me "what do you want us to do about it" I said I just want a turtle blizzard. She then turned the line and asked them and one boy was honest enough to say he made a snickers and sorry... So then she got somewhat nice but still didn't say sorry for blaming me... they made the turtle blizzard but unfortunately still forgot my extra syrup. But what really gets me is what she said to me, like it's my fault they got the blizzards mixed up when they gave them to us as well as making us the wrong blizzard. Like I said everyone was sweet especially the boy at the counter who took our order, but she ruined it. I was going to get some other items to go for family members at home after we ate our desserts. But after that decided not to, and won't go back. Culver's, or Baskins is getting my business from now on, as well as I'm telling others to spend their money elsewhere. Just so disgusted the way she treated me and why you might be losing business. I don't want to give her name, she and the other workers there today know who...
Read moreYoung staff was very friendly but the supervisor/manager on duty was super rude and disrespectful. I ordered an extra large blizzard and paid for extra toppings when I got my blizzard in the Drive-Thru window the ice cream was still White so I asked very politely if extra toppings were added I was told by the kind young staff at the window that she would check and she would get extra toppings put in it for me then the supervisor came up to the window and said that she already put extra toppings in there and if I wanted more that I would have to pay more which I had already paid extra for I still politely responded that my ice cream was white and usually when I order extra toppings my ice cream is Pink she still felt the need to really argue with me tell me that I was wrong and demand more money on top of the $20 that I already spent there for extra toppings so instead of saying the customer is always right and adding the extra squirt of toppings to make the customer happy I will never return to the Cottage Grove Dairy Queen ever again for the rudeness disrespectfulness of the way I was treated there. Which I live in Cottage Grove and I would rather drive to Woodbury or Stillwater to get Dairy Queen then go to that Cottage Grove Dairy...
