Subway — Restaurant in Council Bluffs

Walked in at about 5:30 on 9/27/24. There weren’t any other customers in the building. The ladies working were sitting in the back corner and said it would be a few minutes before they could help us. They continued to sit there complaining about their jobs and coworkers for about 7-8 minutes while we waited. The one gal was also vaping while standing there, she was the one to then help us and did not wash her hands. We ordered one sandwich but if I would not have been in a hurry I would have went somewhere else. Management at this Subway must be awful because most of the times I have been in this location the staff are normally loudly complaining about their jobs. Then they wanted a tip and money for one of their coworkers kids fundraisers! I will start driving to one of the other locations...

When I was ordering an older lady was being extremely disrespectful. I spoke loud enough, I know I did because other people obviously heard me and she put mayo instead of tomato. I'd be fine with this everyone makes mistakes but she got so angry and threw the toppings away, was snarky and told me to speak up under her breath. I spoke even louder for my olives, pickles and BELL peppers. She put banana peppers. I didn't say anything because I already felt disrespected. plus she was being snarky with an aisan lady and acted like she barely spoke English when she communicated perfectly fine. I won't ever come here again if this is how people are treated, everyone can learn to be a little kind. Again the accidents were never the problem it's the way...

Terrible customer service. Tried to call to order carry out for twenty minutes and no one answered. Drove to Same Subway at 1200 Woodbury, Council Bluffs Iowa. I went to the drive up window and was told they didn’t answer the phone because they were too busy. There were only 2 customers in the store. She refused to take my order and told me I could come in and order. She would not listen to me. She walked away. I’m glad she did. I left and went to Jimmy John’s and I will never go to Subway again.
