Lure Lash — Local services in Cranford

The technician I had did a poor job on my lashes and had some questionable techniques on waxing my brows. She was nice and seemed sweet but she lacked experience. When she would put a strip on the wax, she'd press unnecessarily hard on the area (sometimes pressing on my eye) 5-6 times, as if she didn't know what she was doing. I also had to point out she missed waxing several very obvious hairs around my brows.

For my lashes, I left with burning on my eyes for the rest of the day, which I know is not normal since I've had my lashes done before. It's also now day 5 of having my lashes, and 1/3 of the lashes have already fallen out. My eyelashes are looking sparse. Waste of $140 + a tip. I contacted customer support but all they did was offer for me to come back and get it fixed, after my international trip (which is the whole reason I got my lashes done). I got my lashes done here before my wedding on 10/29/2020 and I had a terrible experience. It was my first lash experience. The procedure itself was calming but afterward the technician did not bother to give me the proper aftercare instructions and they did not provide me with a brush for my lashes. Then the next day I began to feel irritation in my eyes and they became super watery. The burning and irritation was almost unbearable. I called the following day to notify them of what was going on and they said that they would speak to a manager and call me back. No one ever called me back. This was very unprofessional and turned me off from ever going back to this place. I ended up having to use eyedrops the day of the wedding and all the lashes pretty much fell out. I love this place. I’m not sure what the other reviewers are observing. I have been coming to Lure Lash pre-pandemic 2018 or 2019 when they first opened. I have met the owner Carmela as well and have been serviced by her. I have a standing appointment with Tasha and I have received nothing but the most exceptional service. Tasha has been doing my lashes for over 2 years and she is consistent with her lash services and very talented. She is very accommodating and always makes sure I’m very comfortable. My lashes last the entire two weeks with minimal extension loss. I am VERY happy with the service I receive. Whenever Tasha is unavailable Zaniyah always takes care of me and is excellent as well. She is extremely sweet! This location is very clean and elegant.
