My sister and I visited Washington Rock Rare Coins last week with coins and paper money to sell. He was recommended by a college friend of mine. I spoke to Richard a few days earlier and we made an appointment to meet at his shop. He was welcoming, offered his condolences, and examined what we brought in to sell. He took his time, answered our questions, told us what had value and what was really just "spending money" (his term for "face value" of the coins/paper money). His offer was more than fair, in our view. When he finished his appraisal, I told him we were going to hold some silver dollars back so that our siblings could decide if they wanted to keep any.
