I love the energy sports bras, they’re the only sport bras that fit me and support me. I received some for Christmas and they were a size too big. I was greeted upon arrival and explained the situation she told me without a receipt she could only give me a credit for the price of the sports bras now since they were on markdown. I work retail I understand that’s common but I wanted to exchange them for the exact same bras just a smaller size so I assumed it would be an easy exchange. When she did the transaction I ended up with a balance of 10.00 which confused me seeing as it was an even swap of product. She explained there was a friends and family sale going on at the time of original purchase. Again I work retail and we’re very accommodating when a customer comes in to swap things we make sure it’s an even exchange. This is more about the principle than it is the money. I don’t understand how someone can come in to exchange something for a smaller size and end up paying 10 dollars more for the same exact merchandise. We talked before about if you’re not comfortable giving your number / info out if you don’t want to. (Her friend felt pressured at other stores). The woman (tall, brunette, looked like she was probably a manager?) was extremely rude after my (14 year old) niece said didn’t have a number with them and answered no thank you to if she wanted to sign up or enter one. I told her it’s ok she doesn’t want to since we had JUST talked about it. When she went to get the gift card pin off the back she snapped “you don’t need to do that” which I replied trying to lighten the convo since she was now very clearly annoyed, she just looked at us and then continued to ring.
