Hello, you! If you are reading this, it's probably because you're having AC issues. First of all, my condolences. Secondly, you will not regret hiring this company - what an amazing group of people.

I will try to summarize but honestly a lot of this experience impressed me so it may be long.

INITIAL VISIT Their tech looked at everything and once he knew the issue, presented me with all of my options. I really love that it was written out as what must be done and included things that should be done. After talking with the tech for a little bit, I ultimately decided to replace everything due to the cost of the repair to get it running and the age of my unit. I want to add in that the tech literally walked away to allow me time and privacy to talk to a friend about everything. This isn't even something I asked for, he just did it on his own. (side note: the owner himself even offered to call my friend directly to talk about things as well which I thought was incredible) I was never once pressured into anything or rushed to make a decision. Something small, but very much appreciated. The tech answered every question I had and left me feeling confident this was the right approach to take.

FIRST VISIT The first visit was actually them being finished at another job earlier, and coming over to get started on mine. The idea was they would get their crew here as they were able to get everything up and running sooner. They got to work as soon as they got here. Two more techs showed up a bit later, as did the owner - Peter. Two of the techs appeared to be apprentices and it was really nice being able to overhear the more seasoned techs teaching them and answering questions. They showed so much patience, knowledge, and kindness to them. They got quite a bit done on the first day.

SECOND/LAST VISIT Woohoo! Can we say cold air!? The way I hit my knees and put my face to the vent when it came on! Not too much more to say on this visit - just kinda wanted another opportunity to point out that I have cold air again. The techs were once again awesome. Absolutely no mess anywhere that I could see. They cleaned up as they went and seriously... I have cold air again. I also want to note that because of their unique idea of splitting this up - my unit was installed and running TWO days before the original install date! :D

SHOUT OUTS Peter, Grace (you are beyond a joy to talk to!), Trent, Kyle 1, Kyle 2, and the two other techs I didn't get the name of (I am so sorry) - you are all rock stars. I really cannot thank you all enough for doing everything in your power to get this done as quickly as possible. Your kindness and understanding in all of this was so appreciated too. I get this is your job and I am a paying customer and blah blah blah but I couldn't imagine having had a better experience. Thank you...

I had my HVAC vents cleaned as well as my dryer vent. P's HVAC Heating and Air Conditioning was quick to respond to my request for a quote. The quote was in line with other quotes and lower then several. I chose them because they were prompt on communications, and they were available quickly. Jacob and his partner showed up on time, and I received a text about 30 minutes before their arrival with a picture of the techs and a brief bio - nice touch. Jacob also called to make sure I was available and to confirm his arrival time.

Upon arrival they wore booties to keep the house clean and inspected the vents etc. The price did increase, but that was on me because I misquoted the number of ducts I had when I gave them my info. My fault, not theirs. They then efficiently cleaned intake and output HVAC vents as well as my dryer vent.

The whole process took a while, but they worked quickly and efficiently. When they were done they showed me the dust, dirt and lint that were removed from my vents - there was a lot!

they cleaned up and it looked as if they had never been there! Everything was back in place properly and all stray dust and dirt was vacuumed up and vents were all replaced. They even did me a solid and secured a previously loose outside connection that I didnt have the proper tools or screws for, that was nice of them.

The first day after I did see some increase in light dust that they advised could happen, and after a regular dusting, I can tell it made a big difference because the general dust around the house is MUCH less than it had been. For reference, my home is 18 years old, I have lived here 3.5 years and this is the first time the ducts were ever cleaned. Now I wish I had done this when I moved in as I was battling dust constantly. Learned my lesson about keeping vents (dryer in particular!) cleaned more frequently.

I cannot share many details as my experience was so horrendous that it never got past introductions. Having lost our heat, my pregnant wife and I called at minimum 8 businesses to seek emergency repair services, cancelling 7 of them specifically because Dr. P's HVAC directly quoted us a price of less than 60 for labor and less than 160 for parts as our thermostat would need replacement. This price was quoted by a dispatcher before anyone had arrived at our home. When the technician arrived, he directly quoted prices with multiple hundreds of dollars of difference. Far too vast to be labelled a miscommunication but that is how it was referred to over and over again after the technician contacted the business for clarification. My wife became very upset that they were insistent on bait and switch prices when our heat was off in the middle of winter and we needed immediate service. Without cursing but with tears in her eyes and myself on her phone, she told them she was uncomfortable multiple times and asked, eventually having to insist that they leave. The dispatcher who quoted the wrong prices, using a personal cell phone number, sent volatile and harassing texts to my wife (referencing in them having thought the prices she quoted would be generally correct) which have been referred to the BBB as evidence alongside these exact complaints.
