I visited this establishment today and had the worst shopping experience ever. I was in the store browsing for about 15 minutes. There were 4 sales associates behind the counter, doing absolutely nothing. I was never greeted nor asked if I needed help. This place is not big and there was 1 other customer in there at the time. It was as if I were invisible. I approached the counter and asked if a manager was there. I was told yes and so I asked to speak to he or she. The associate asked me if she could ask what it was about I politely said no. She went to the employees area and returned a few minutes later. With a straight face she proceeded to tell me, coincidentally now no manager was there. And she could take my name and number. When I questioned her as to why just minutes before. She told me a manager was present. She flat out lied and said she didn't tell me that. I was so disgusted. There, in that moment she chose to make an already bad situation worse. The cowardly manager didn't want to come deal with the black customer. I explained to the associate how the lack of customer service was offensive. Not to mention while I was in the store I observed a white customer enter. She was approached and greeted. I pointed that out as well. The store manager and the sales associates are racist. Please people of color and any descent human being who stands against racism. Do not spend your dollars here or donate to them. This was my first time visiting this store. First impressions are truly lasting impressions. When someone or something shows you who they are...believe them! Only gave them a star because you can't post without giving...

Buy terrific items and help others. I never leave there empty handed. This organization helps so many people. Suits children for a new school years with clothes, shoes and a book bag chocked full. They help shelter women, with bags of clothes items an gifts to help them in the transaction. Finally, the provide Teddy Bears to children that are ill or injured and go to hospital in ambulance or helicopter. Police often carry them too. I am proud to be part of Alliance League. Lovely members make this the place...

I was up in the area for the day and stumbled on this cute little shop. I'll be honest, as I was walking up it looked very Boutique-ish and I almost didn't enter. But, I spotted the section I was looking for, and gave it a chance. I did not immediately see pricing, so I asked at the counter. I was greeted warmly and answered promptly. The associate even double-checked that the pricing was displayed. I found a couple of items in terrific condition for a very reasonable price. I'll return again when I next return...
