Ring Review: Don’t know what I did to deform the band, but it was bad. Took it in and asked to have it fixed. Slight miscommunication, first round, had the fix completed round two. Much less than I was expecting, much less. Looks like new again. Only jewelry store I’ve been to in 10 years. Always very satisfied with the purchases and the checkups. Sailors (Mariners) Cross four months later: Mine the larger. At least five years old purchased here. The smaller a Cross purchased for my Wife 2005, different jeweler in CA. I’d ripped the nexus of the shank and arm. I wish I had the before picture. Took it in, didn’t care ‘must be fixed’, the fix was priceless to me. Picked it up today and am beyond pleased with the repair. Importantly, the root cause will not be repeated due to the two additions between the tips of the flukes and the helm wheel and the reenforced shank spine and arm on the reverse. The owners, Dominic and his wife, Kim and their staff do an excellent job presenting all your options based on what you are looking for. We purchased our wedding sets from them and they are so beautiful. We also scrapped quite a bit of old gold jewelry, which gave us a credit to use towards our next purchase. Our latest purchase was a beautiful single band Diamond ring for my right hand. We looked at many rings. Raul has helped us the last few times and was very attentive and considerate of our price range. He was very knowledgeable and offered suggestions based on our choices. My family has done business with Romantique Jewelers for over 35 years. We would not consider going to another jeweler and they have a huge selection of fine jewelry.
