I have been going to Olive Fee Fee Auto Care for 6 years and I had such a poor experience my last 3 visits, I promised myself I would write a recommendation such that others didn't have the same experience. My last and final visit occurred on a Thursday morning when I walked in at 7:05 AM to drop off my car for my catalytic converter to be inspected. I walked in and didn't see anyone working the front counter so I sat down next to an older gentleman customer. I then noticed a round mirror that reflects from the back of the shop to the waiting room so that the workers can monitor customers in the waiting room. The mirror worked two ways, and to my surprise, there was a worker drinking his coffee, playing phone games, and ignoring me. I waited a minute, hoping that the worker might have just not seen/heard me come in and then walked back up to the counter and said, "Hello". The worker on his phone looked up and then continued back on his phone. The older gentlemen customer looked up from reading the daily newspaper and said, "They know we are here, they just like to make us wait." I patiently waited 10 more minutes until the worker on his phone finished his phone game and came to the front. I explained that the older gentleman in the waiting room was before me in line and the worker said very shortly, "We know who he is" and dismissed the older gentleman customer. The lack of customer service was shocking. I believe Olive Fee Fee Auto Care solely stays in business because of how convenient they are. They have a fantastic location that filters in a lot of neighborhood traffic. I firmly believe Olive Fee Fee Auto Care would not survive in any other location. I will be taking my cars elsewhere as I don't have time for them to play games...
Read moreI’m very skeptical of auto shops but decided to give this shop a chance as it is in my community.. Unfortunately my experience was exactly what I feared it would be. I was told that a new battery was the fix to my issue. I was told the battery was installed(without my consent) and the car was ready for pick up. I arrived at the shop and paid my bill for the battery. I went to my vehicle only to find out it would not start(same issue as before). Prior to having my car towed to the shop. I called and informed that I thought I had a starter issue. I was told they would diagnose and let me know if it was something they could handle if not they would refer me elsewhere. After going back and forth with the tech and them offering to just put my old battery back and I could take my car elsewhere (out of frustration). The mechanic states that they will runs some diagnostic and see what the issue is .. which is what I initially thought was being done vs just guessing it was the battery. (200.00 dollars.) I agreed to finally do the diagnostic to only hours later receive a call saying “your car started again so do you want to pick it up. No mention of diagnostic I guess they gave up. Out of kindness or eagerness to get car off their hands, because I was not nearby the shop was ok with dropping the car off to my home which was a mile away. I was thankful for that but still have same issue and a 200.00 battery I may not even needed. I remain skeptical unfortunately after this experience. I didn’t expect for a shop to guess I thought shops would find out for sure. I would recommend this shop for maybe simple jobs (brakes, battery, wiper blades). But not sure about diagnostics.
As a footnote my battery was less than a year old and still...
Read moreThis is the first time i am writing review with the hope that my comments will be helpful for someone. 3 days before my Honda Odyssey battery drained off and i had to jump start my car. Once i jump start the car, i went to this Auto center to check whats going on. They called me after few hours and told that it needs Alternator change which would cost me ~$830. I asked them to proceed fixing it. Within few minutes i got another call to come in person. When i went there, they have shown me some bolt which was broken from the alternator and they said it was already broken so they cant fix anything and asked me to take it to Honda Dealership center. Do you think any car will run with broken bolt from an alternator ? I drove my car myself to drop off. The Honda dealer called me and clearly said they have broken the bolt and thats the reason i was asked to take the car to Honda dealership. Interestingly the actual problem was dripping oil to the alternator which honda dealer fixed it for 270$ but for fixing the broken bolt they charged me 600$. They also mentioned the alternator is in very good condition. I ended up paying 600$ as because these people broke the bolt from the alternator. Its totally their mistake and they dont even have honesty to accept the mistake. I dont know how could they say my car got bad alternator which wasnt true after checking with the Honda dealer. I will never go here and never recommend to anyone. Be careful before going here because you might end up paying for their...
