Big Lou's Toys & Collectibles Mall — Local services in Culver City

My wife and I were at Big Lou's and came across a retro Fisher Price Weeble house missing all of the extra parts. We are expecting a baby soon so we thought how cute it would be to share our childhood memories with our baby.

After we bought the Weeble house for $80, along with a bunch of other toys, we were heading home and my wife found the same Weeble House (multiple listings actually) on ebay in excellent condition with no parts missing for a 1/3 of the price. She was looking to find the missing Weeble house parts on ebay to complete our collection but was shocked at the overly priced Weeble house from Big Lou's.

We felt we could use the extra money so we immediately returned to Big Lou's hoping they would understand and provide us with a refund.

It was not even an hour since we purchased the toy and Big Lou would not help us. They did not accommodate us or attempt to meet us in the middle at all. Afterwards, I emailed Big Lou requesting they do what they can to help us but after two weeks of waiting for a reply it became obvious Big Lou was not going to help.

I will not be shopping at Big Lou's anymore. They do not list their return policy anywhere, their phone was disconnected and they do not reply to emails....

The toy store is great if you happen to win the lottery and the store is actually open for business. It's the most inconsistent hours in the history of stores.

It really is a complete crap shoot if you go. I don't know how they stay in biz or have been on the brink of closing for some time. They simply don't seem to care one bit about being open for biz with consistent hours. It feels like the employees play it day by day and wake up and say "screw it, I'm not going to open the store today" and they simply don't show up.

If they happen to be open, they have an amazing selection of cars from floor to ceiling. But you're gonna have to try like 3-5 times before you see an open door. The hours posted...

Whenever I want to come get a toy or a magazine comic strip as far as the magazine like of superheroes or cars or any kind of toy. This is a place to go to I've been knowing about this place probably for the last. Maybe 10 years and I appreciate this place a lot actually. I'm gonna try to go in sometime this week. I look forward to it. I think the rest of you should check it out if you ever wanna. We live your childhood or little child or someone you know or you're a kid. No what it was like to have a real toy and admire it as far as for who made it and what it did for you as well with. That in mind have a great day see...
