another one of these shopping center things?
who takes the time to consider the subtle differences between a "shopping center" and its constituent retail estabishments? i've lamented this before, so let's try a different approach:
"studio village" isn't near any studios. it's SORT OF near sony studios but that's a stretch. you could almost as easily call this "airport village" due to the almost equidistant LAX. so don't expect to be discovered by a producer here. nor a pilot.
beyond that, the "village" is home to a bunch of convenient retail establishments. there's a target here, for example.... but you might find yourself confused by the access to said target. there is a labyrinthine entrance and parking lot arrangement that seems designed to weed out the least intelligent among us. this seems curious for a target, but i'm sure there are reasons.
on the other 'side' of the shopping center (i'm not sure where the legal boundaries are of the studio village) is the pavilions i've reviewed before, as well as a rite-aid, and even a restoration hardware outlet store (that last bit is reasonably unusual, so there's that.)
this is really all i have to say. it's a tricky area to navigate vehicularly, but...

Honestly you could get away with your chillin house clothes but you may get looks like I did lol. There a few businesses yet its mostly apartments and residential housing that dominate the landscape. You have a few eatery spots to round it out with maybe four to six places to get drinks if that is your key interest for being in this part of Los Angeles. Amazon just purchased Culver studios so it's definitely jumped up to accommodate the new wave of college grads with cash to burn and the aging hipsters looking for new...
Read moreSad. It’s oddly a sad shopping strip. That’s so unhelpful but yeah, it’s just so long and there’s really not much to drop by and do there save groceries - like ….maybe a pet store, maybe a tj max, maybe a party city? Meh. Seems like a lot of space but like - badly assembled. I’m petty so ignore this - it’s a fine place if you need to visit one of the businesses operating here. The parking lot is just super Bummertown. Also, seagulls. Everywhere. Seagulls live to be 25, 30 years old. So there may be some pavilions parking lot seagulls that were born when mtv was still v2-ed by Carson Daly ala TRL. For my...
