Panera Bread — Restaurant in Culver City

I typically get great service at the Jefferson Panera. I went there today and most of the staff was in front having a meeting. I was first in line with 2 customers behind me. We waited 15 minutes before an employee in the back saw us and said, “I’ll be right back “. I said ok and she never returned. 12 minutes later, an older black female employee came from the meeting area, walked past us and put her plate in the sink. She was facing me and had no choice but to ask if I had been helped yet? I said no. She looked annoyed, came to the register and said “what can I get you”? No hi, thanks for waiting, just “what can I get you”? I said HI and smiled, she didn’t respond. I said “I’ll have a small Madagascar vanilla Almond Cold Brew’. She typed it into the register then asked another employee to help her. He said “oh, we don’t have any vanilla and suggested something else for me that has almond milk. I said, “ oh, I thought the almond in Madagascar was a syrup”? He suggested a caramel latte. I said ok. He walked away and the female employee said under her breath, “now I gotta change the order to almond milk! I said ”ma’am , I never asked for almond milk, do you have Oat milk”? She was annoyed again and I said “ what is your problem“? She said “I don’t have a problem”! I said “it’s on your face every time I ask a question”! She raised her voice and said “this is just my face”! When I got louder the manager came out and told her to go in the back. He apologized for her behavior and said he couldn’t believe she was talking to a customer like that?! I thanked him and said he doesn’t have to apologize for her nasty behavior! He gave me the latte on the house and I told him he’s a great manager and thanked him again! I’m annoyed that I had to write this review but it’s about principle because I never disrespected her! In my opinion, Panera shouldn’t allow easily agitated employees to deal with...

I arrived at Paner Bread around 1015 and the soups weren't ready yet but they said about 10 minutes so I ordered one and I decided I would wait. I also ordered a bagel to curve the hunger a little bit and I didnt get my soup until 1100 when the manager it seems was walking around checking on people and on the tables. I could hear her from where I was sitting and they girl preparing the food said she had already made my food and had given it to me but she was going to make one anyways so I wouldn't complain any further. But here's my thing, I don't complain about anything because I know what its like to have people upset at you for doing their order and someone else giving it to the wrong person or someone else taking it. But I left it as is. I don't like to complain I understand the pressures and I have a feeling she did make my order, but the girl walking around handing out the orders walk away and gave it someone else. The manager was nice and even though I could here the girl saying she had made my order I'm still giving them a 5 star review. Not out of pity but out of respect, they thought they made it and gave it to me but that wasn't the case and instead of making a big deal out of it they just gave me one and took my word for it, and for that I...

Horrible. Panini Gone. No Bread Art. Wonder if Rice (with bread side) is a good thing to put on the menu. Unlimited Drink Subscription not even worth it for a 3 month free, pay later either 8.99 or, to try to keep ya as a subscriber, 1.99...because they can't even get their system right on a 5 visit, next recipe shouldn't say 1 visit for a free item/gift to a next visit reciept to say 1. To Top it Off, Have an "Accuracy Matters" Note on Top of The Receipt, to say that if anything is wrong with "the order"...they'll be sure to correct it with a 'free treat'...bummer, they can't even get the proper customer service to retain a Subscription customer, to give a returning customer a 'free treat' and to ensure that their systems were actually working right instead of going on an incorrect numerical value even on the reciept and I have no idea why they even sent me an Alerting Notification to say that I was going to get my Free Gift. I Unsubscribed. Really Disgusting...
