My husband and I were visiting family out of town and decided to check out some mattresses. After finding one we liked, we were told that the mattress, box spring, and pillows could be shipped to us for only $150.
We thought about it for a day or so, then called back to make our purchase. The purchase had to be completed by a manager, who was supposed to call us back.
We never got a call, so I called the store and completed the purchase. I asked for a breakdown of the total amount, which was incorrect. We were told pillows were buy one get one free, so that was corrected. I asked for an emailed receipt and was told we would be contacted about delivery within 2-3 days. Never got an emailed receipt.
I hadn't heard anything about delivery (well after the timeframe) and still hadn't gotten a receipt, so I called the store. The manager said the bed frame couldn't be shipped and asked if we had a location closer to us. I tried to Google it while on the phone with her (the nearest location was permanently closed-also not sure why I'm the one having to fix this). She said she would call me back that day with a solution but never did.
The next time I called, she said she didn't call because the bedframe couldn't be shipped. I asked again for a receipt and gave my email for the third time. Finally got a receipt; she had sent it to an incorrect email previously. We gave up on the bedframe and got a refund for that.
One pillow was delivered so I called to correct that and have been waiting on the second one.
When the mattress was delivered, the instructions weren't followed that I left for the delivery team. They didn't call my husband or use the gate code. They drove in behind another vehicle causing the gate to hit their truck.
I gave it a month for the second pillow to be delivered and called the store. The manager said she assumed I had the pillow and that it was out of her hands, that it ships from their main warehouse. I called customer service at the warehouse and they said there was some type of hold from the store. They gave me the district managers number and I haven't heard from them either.
Terrible customer service. I understand mistakes happen but all I'm asking for is someone's word and some basic communication. I haven't been contacted a single time by this location, every part of the process has had an error, and I still don't know...
Read moreI Bought a Nectar mattress from them. About a year in we had a problem with the mattress. I contacted Nectar and they immediately approved a exchange but I had to go through Mattress Warehouse. They agreed to the exchange. Everything is going good until the day they show up for the exchange. The delivery guy comes in and takes pictures of the mattress and sends them over to Mattress Warehouse Delivery. I am then told because there is black fuzzles on the Mattress they can't take it back. I immediately grabbed a lint brush to take off the fuzzles but I was told they already took the picture so there's nothing they can do. I then brought up that the terms said normal wear and tear is approved but apparently fuzzles are not normal wear and tear. I've tried to contact management at Mattress Warehouse because Nectar wanted me to set up a conference call so they could tell them to do the exchange but have yet to receive a call back or even an email from Mattress Warehouse. Can't help to think that they saw they might lose money and decided to screw me so that didn't happen even though everything was under warranty. If you want peace of mind and a decent mattress then I suggest saying far far away from...
Read more20 years ago my husband and I bought a Stearns & Foster bed that to this day is just as firm and comfortable as the first night we slept in it. Unfortunately, shipping it to MD from AK didn't fit our budget. Imagine the serendipity of walking into the Mattress Warehouse of La Vale to find they had a king for not much more than we paid for a queen 20 yrs ago! And it's even better now because it includes a Tempurpedic layer. The sales people are knowledgeable and patient. I just blew in from Alaska, having not received our shipment of nice clothes and suffering one heck of a bad hair day. I was treated with respect and more patience than I deserved while I tested every pillow and asked dozens of old lady questions. They have many other mattress brands, as well, and I have to think all of them are also of great quality. If you don't want to continuously spend hundreds of $$ over the decades replacing your mattress, I recommend you go to the Mattress Warehouse and see what they can do for you. By the way, the folks who bought our AK house flopped onto our 20-yr-old Stearns & Foster and asked us to leave it for them, even though they could...
