FINAL UPDATE: This place has definitely improved in many ways. The food is certainly better and the drive-thru has been quite acceptable during lunch time. Not quite at five stars because I continued to see small problems (like confusion at the drive-thru because they merge you into one lane suddenly) but I hope they will get there. Occasionally the fries also suck but not too often. Good job in turning it around guys!
UPDATE: It’s my understanding that this store is being run by CFA corporate right now. I went through the line for lunch yesterday and, not only was it efficient, the food was good too. Time will tell if there are actually improvements here but I’ve added a star based on what I’ve seen so far.
This CFA is pretty much the worst one around. I live right down the street but I drive to the one at The Collection instead. The service at this location is pretty poor: long waits in the drive-thru for typical orders, they often do not run the second lane, and the inside staff seems to be disjointed in completing orders. The food is also just okay - never fantastic. I compare this to the one at The Collection and the one on Windward Parkway - both locations I visit regularly and they have none of these problems.
One thing that particularly frustrates me and has happened multiple times at this location is how they provide dine-in food: you order and are usually given a table marker. Multiple times now, my food has been prepared and left on the counter at the front with my name on it. Nobody brings it but I go find it myself. Why did I have a marker? This happened once when I ordered two milkshakes and they had to remake them for me because they were melted by the time I found them.
The only reason this is two stars is because the playground is open and one of my children really enjoys this. We put up with the other stuff to go here because of this. Once the playground opens back up at The Collection, we’ll probably just skip this...
Read moreFor this being a Chick-fil-a restaurant I am really disappointed. Before I explain how this is the McDonald's of Chick-fil-a, I want to give a shout out to the employees who work during breakfast. You all are one of the only reasons I continue to return to this location. You all consistently have a positive attitude while having great order accuracy! On the flip side, dinner crew is consistently disappointing. While the employees working outside during dinner have an amazing smile on their face, the ease of having my perfect mobile order still fails. Typically, I will order ahead on the app so I know 100% what I am ordering. However, by the time I have received my food and am leaving the restaurant I realize something is wrong. Whether it's the wrong sandwich with a different name, to the forgotten sauces, something always happens. I've been able to return to the restaurant every time something has happened, in hopes the employees running the dinning room can help a girl out. Nearly every time I have gone inside, the employees all look as if their best friend just died. None of the employees watching over the front counter never even bat an eye at someone mindlessly standing alone with nothing but a sandwich and a receipt. I wasn't even helped until the gentleman who was bagging inside orders told the girl doing sauces to help me. Kudos to him for being very proactive for something that wasn't even in his peripheral vision! Unless these front counter employees can learn the Chick-fil-a way, they might be a better fit at the McDonald's across the street. I think the costumers who are still reading this would be better off spending their money at one of the other Chick-fil-a locations. You'd most likely actually get your correct food with a...
Read moreThis is my first ever negative review on here, but yesterday's drive thru breakfast service was so bad that I couldn't not say something. Arrived at 10:20 for breakfast, but knew that cutting it so close may be a problem, so we anticipated a slight delay. There were only a couple of cars in front of us, so we felt like it would be fine. Instead, the 2 employees taking orders were bouncing between lanes, causing a car ahead of us to be skipped, so our lane had to wait until that car flagged down the employee. I figured that they were trying to get all the biscuit orders in before 10:30, so I wasn't frustrated...until about 20 minutes later when we had not even made it past the ordering area. I then watched as another employee started walking orders all the way around the building with no luck because they couldn't find who they belonged to. Several cars gave up and left without their food. In the end, it took nearly 40 minutes for 2 biscuits (scorching hot on one side and luke warm on the other for some reason) and two drinks (after being given the wrong ones and having to hand back), and not one employee even said sorry for the delay. A simple apology would have helped. Not sure if it was a problem with training or food prep, but I never thought that when the slowest Chickfila I have ever been to moved to a fancy new building with ideal layout, that the service and speed would get worse. I think I may skip this location from...
