Most of our house is restoration hardware, much of it from this outlet. The reason I give a 3 star vs 5 star is the store manager is horrid to deal with. She wields her power to both the employees and customers. (Employees don’t like her by the way, I’ve spoken with them)
Many other managers will work with you some if an item is damaged or has been a slow seller, but not her. I bought a very fragile clock from her one day and she refused to give me any bubble wrap for it because she said she was running low on bubble wrap. She just has a very nasty attitude and acts like she’s doing you a favor by working with you.
We avoid her at all costs and I think she does the same thing, which my wife and I are fine with.
Ask for Joseph. He offers by far the most exceptional service (he truly needs to be the store manager)
As far as pricing goes, ehh. Many of the price tags show the retail price less 20% then on top of that they discount an additional 25%-40% (sometimes 50% but rarely). But this is why this isn’t a good deal. If you have the $100 per year membership you get 25% off retail from the regular Restoration Hardware in store and online for brand new items.
So in essence, you only average 20%-30% off damaged/floor samples vs buying new.
Here’s an example. You buy a $1,000 chandelier. Retail with 25% membership off you pay $750.
At the outlet, it’ll say $1,000 less 20% equals $800. Then if they are having a 25% promo (this store most always has this, rarely 40-50%) that brings it to $600, a savings of only $150 for a damaged/floor model final sale with no warranty vs buying brand new with warranty and a return privilege.
So it’s best to work with someone who can knock an extra 10-15% off, especially for visibly damaged items. They do it. You just have to find someone who has the slightest desire to help you, which...
Read moreI LOVE this place and they're dog-friendly! Staff are so kind here! They are also very helpful. I have to admit, I was getting overwhelmed with all the choices but they help you with the decision-making process. I needed a coffee table and they helped me pick one based on lifestyle (we like to play board games), sofa size, living room size, and just general layout. Every time we come back, we always feel welcomed and I don't see that at other furniture stores. I've gone to so many furniture stores but staff always seem clueless about the things they're selling and just rude. At RH, I've never felt that. Staff are always knowledgeable and just incredibly kind. Most of the one star reviews are complaining about prices and policies, but those are their prices & policies, they're very upfront about it. It's an outlet, they make it very clear about their return policies. It also seems silly to write a review about a luxury brand complaining about their standard prices. Go somewhere else?
I ended up buying two sofas, coffee table, bedroom furniture, breakfast table, and dining table from here. I'm definitely going...
Read moreWhat a disappointment. We'd been looking forward to visiting for quite a while, as we love Restoration Hardware. And then we walked in. Picture one giant warehouse room filled with all of the old, used floor samples from regular RH stores, combined with some obviously damaged/discolored pieces. A few things were 40% off what you would pay for a new one at the real store, but most items were only 10-20% off. Just pay the RH membership fee and save the same amount on brand new, high quality pieces from the real store. We were also the only ones in the store, and yet none of the employees said anything until we were about to walk out the door. I'm honestly surprised Restoration Hardware would have an "outlet" that is so completely opposite from their entire branding. Don't waste...
