YES! YES! YES!! We were both exhausted and between paychecks last night so we took a look at the Uber Eats Offers. WNB was doing a BOGO on their "Not Closed on Sunday" spicy chicken sandwich, which is priced at $6.89. We figured even if it was small, it'd be worth it. So we chose that, as well as a large fry, $5+change. Because the bill was going to be cheap we ordered a few of their house ranch sauces as well as two of their Nashville Hot sauce. Total bill came to $32 and some change but that was with us giving the max tip because, why not when the food was that affordable? Honestly, we were not expecting much and were so pleasantly surprised when the order came and it was way more food than anticipated for the low price. The large fries were enough for three people easily. The chicken sandwiches were larger than most of the popular fast food places and visually looked appealing. It tasted as good as it looked with a perfect pickle to chicken to sauce ratio. The chicken was juicy and had great texture and was perfectly cooked. We opted for the pretzel bun rather than the standard brioche, and that was a .50 cent up charge but totally worth it. The bun was fresh and actually tasted like a pretzel bun instead of dry, overdone, hard bread. The fries were well cooked and were also great. House ranch did not disappoint either. If there was one low point it was the Nashville hot sauce. It had no flavor aside from raw cumin. But look... I can live with an .89 cent sauce being the only negative out of everything we ordered. Gonna give this one a 10/10 and we will do it again. You absolutely cannot beat the value...
Read moreI went into the location and ordered a chicken cheesesteak at 1:40pm. There were three patrons seated eating and I was the only person ordering to go at the time. After I ordered, there were four more guests that ordered within 10 minutes of me waiting for my order. I sat there and watched as one of the three that ordered 5 minutes after me received his food. 8 minutes later the second received his food before me. 5 minutes later, the third individual received her food. I sat there 30 minutes with no food, offer of a drink, or alert that there was a delay with my order. I approached the register and told the manager that I have been waiting 30 minutes for my order and watched people who ordered after me receive their food. I requested a refund at that time. He reviewed my receipt and stated what I ordered and proceeded to the back to the kitchen. After a couple minutes, he surfaced still with no food… He said it’s our fault with no explanation and gave me a ref with a coupon for 10% off my next order. In that moment, I’ve sat in the establishment for 30 minutes anticipating a meal and I walked out the door empty handed… a coupon for 10% off my next meal is not enough to repay me for the time I wasted. Poor quality of service and a...
Read moreI tried WNB today. I got the Philly cheese steak, fries, and wings. The over all meal was good but I have advice for the owner of this place. Make sure your workers are cooking the food to order. I cook and I know that the beef in my sandwich wasn't as fresh as it should of been. The fries were good so I can't say anything about them. The wings were the highlight of everything and very good.
I will try this place again in couple of weeks to give the owner time to speak to the managers and cooks. This place should be consistently busy and it will be if they make up their mind not to use old items to cook. The beef needs to be ordered and cooked within two days and then another order. That way everything is top notch and that goes for all their ingredients. I would give out samples of wings like BBQ and lemon pepper during lunch hours outside. Make some sliders and let your name build up. Make sure your cooking fresh and not lazy. This place has potential and I hope...
