Taco Bell — Restaurant in Cumming

It has been a long time since I last ate at any Taco Bell location and stopped in here one afternoon with a craving for the Cheesy Gordita Crunch Wrap with Fire hot sauce. I cannot say I was disappointed, the food was exactly as I remember from my last visit of well over a year ago. It satisfied my craving!

Service, the young lady who took my order was pleasant but did not appear to be friendly or really wanting to be there during my visit. She was working the register and also out cleaning the dining room which was empty but had obviously been used and in need of cleaning. My table was clean but many around me needed cleaning and the floors were dirty but she was working on them and making progress so they may have had a large crowd before my arrival. This may also have led to her demeanor at the register.

My food order was prepared quickly and was correct. My name was called shortly after I ordered and a young man handed me my tray greeting me by name and asking if there was anything he could do for me. His attitude was great and he made me feel welcomed. I have to say that it was his greeting and attitude that prompted me to give them four stars versus two. My experience in ordering left me ready to leave but he saved the experience.

I hate going into a food place and feeling like I am really burdening the person taking my order and they really wish I had not bothered them. Unfortunately, this was my feeling when I placed my order but it was nice to know my food preparation was by somebody who enjoyed their job.

Bottom line, I would return here again next time I have a craving...

I give a three on the atmosphere because nobody likes to sit in a drive-thru line full of irritable, rude, and hungry people. At 10 pm or later, that is normally the atmosphere here, especially when it's the only fast food place open after 11 pm in the entire county. The drive-thru line is always long after 10 pm, so don't plan on this being fast food or what you call a quick bite to eat. The employees are tired by this time of the evening, it's obvious, but they are never rude, just without any personality or pleasure. So, it's only fair to consider that when reviewing and when speaking of the service. However, the food is always hot, freshly prepared, and worth its price. I will note, it does speed things up if you order through the Taco Bell app. Lots of time is spent waiting to place your order in the drive-thru. You are always greeted and asked to wait before proceeding with your order. They sound relieved when you tell them you have a mobile order. It seems to speed up the process and I have never received food of any less quality when ordering through the app. Plus, you earn points that add up quickly and I almost always have enough points to cash in through the app and receive something...

This is from April 2025 easter day. We had major issue at this location. We were a large group - 6 people. We are vegetarians and always order with care. But they gave us beef mexican pizza jn initial order even after ordering black bean mexican pizza from veggie menu on screen.

We complained, they replaced.

Then subsequently we placed order for black been crunch wrap and again mentioned pls make sure not to make same mistake. The guy on counter apologised and said they will make sure wont make the same mistake. Then delivered on table and again said sorry. We were a little happy and started eating again and to out surprise, it was again a beed crunch wrap! It was really unsettling experience and we had to literally come out without eating as we lost all confidence in them and we asked for refund. They took 15 minutes to agree and that too only for 2 items where they screwed up.
