A Mediterranean Treasure in Cumming! If you're anywhere near the Shops of Brannon Crossing on Peachtree Parkway, make it a point to visit House of Hummus—a casual Mediterranean spot that truly stands out. From the moment you step inside, you’re greeted by the warmest hospitality from the owner, whose genuine kindness and passion for her craft are evident in every detail. You can order from a kiosk or at the counter - service is fast but this is not fast food. Everything is prepared to order. The menu is an absolute feast for the senses. Whether you're savoring a perfectly seasoned gyro, indulging in a chicken shawarma wrap, or enjoying the crispy, golden falafel, every bite bursts with authentic Mediterranean flavors. The Greek salads are always fresh, and the hummus—oh, the hummus! Creamy, smooth, and served with soft, warm pita, it's the kind of dish that keeps you coming back. Thoughtful touches abound, from kid-friendly meals to the option of Greek-style fries, which are a delightful twist on the classic. Be sure to try the house-made salad dressings and dipping sauces—they're the secret stars of the menu, adding an extra layer of flavor to every dish. And for dessert lovers? You’re in for a treat. The Baklava is a rich, flaky masterpiece, while the Pistachio and Ricotta Cake offers a sweet and satisfying finale to your meal. For families, the specially curated family meal is a winner, offering a generous spread of Chicken Shawarma, Gyro, Greek salad, vermicelli rice, hummus, tzatziki, and Greek dressing—perfect for sharing. At House of Hummus, it's not just about the incredible food; it’s about the experience. The owner’s heartfelt dedication and welcoming personality make it a place where you feel like more than a customer—you feel like family. Don't miss out on this gem!

While the food has always been great (which I why I always bring friends and family with me) and I even waited MONTHS for this place to open, the quality of service has been on the downward slope after the grand opening. Because of that I started getting my food to-go, though, today I thought I’d give it another try dining in. Well, that was a mistake. Ordered two pitas (one gyro and one falafel), a tub of hummus and 12 pita slices. The pita was served alongside the gyro and was touching it, and as I’m a vegetarian, couldn’t eat it as that’s cross-contamination. I politely told the young staff member the issue and requested new pita to have the worst possible response… he gave me the ugliest look and argued with me that the meat wasn’t on all of the bread so it was fine. Again, I told him that it was cross-contamination as the ‘separate’ order of bread (should have been on its own plate) was literally touching the gyro and as I, the vegetarian who ordered it separately, needed new bread. Thats when he picked up the handful of bread and angrily WAVED it at me and raised his voice stating again “You mean you can’t eat THIS bread?!” Obviously he was not taught cross-contamination during his onboarding which raises concern on the overall establishment. Unless the owner reaches out directly to share practices on food separation and informs me this gentleman who was aggressive towards me over food is no longer there, I will NOT be going back and I will ensure to spread the word. *NOT VEGETARIAN FRIENDLY*

I was super hungry and my stomach was curious about this spot, so we decided to check it out. I was greeted me warmly. The menu was easy to understand, so I went for the lentil rice as a base with chicken Shawarma and Original Tahini-Hummus with Tahini sauce. When my food arrived, I was pleasantly surprised by the portion size. The chicken tasted delicious, and I really enjoyed the hummus. Honestly, I liked everything. I savored my meal in total peace. As I ate, more and more people started arriving since it was lunchtime and the place gets pretty busy. The place was clean, with six tables inside and outdoor seating too. I'm guessing it'll be popular once spring rolls around. Overall, my experience with their customer service was good, the food pleased me immensely, and the price was fair. I'll definitely be back to try something different.

I called this restaurant to see if they could cater, the guy working told me to call their other location because this location is super new so I spoke to Sergio. Both workers I spoke to were extremely polite & professional. They each told me that they would contact the manager with my request and expressed that the manager was super cool and would probably help me out with the catering and delivery. They did not disappoint! The manager is SO kind. She called me back a little later & confirmed my request to feed 20 people. She was professional, polite, & super helpful/knowledgeable with recommendations to accommodate our vegan/pescatarian customers. They delivered on time and were great with communication. Also, the food was delicious! We had salad, hummus, chicken shawarma (which had many compliments), rice, lentil rice (which was a delicious vegan option), & falafels (super yummy)! I wish I would have nabbed a photo because she provided everything they needed. I can’t wait to visit their actual restaurant and try more of their options! Thank...
