When we moved to the area several years ago, we were advised that we needed updated appraisals on the jewelry on our insurance policy. Not being familiar to the area, we didn't know where to go. We originally went to another store first, at a friend's recommendation. The soonest they could help us with a written appraisal was 2 weeks--and that was after waiting for at least 30 minutes to be acknowledged. We passed Omega on the way home and decided to go in. We were warmly greeted by the owners, Mike and Melissa; explained what we needed; and had our appraisals the next day.

We have always used a small, family owned jeweler and decided that Omega "fit the bill" for all of our jewelry needs close to home. Whether it be finding the perfect diamonds for earrings for a 25th wedding anniversary; resetting an engagement ring; re-purposing no-longer-worn jewelry; or selecting a new piece to "add to the collection," Omega has been our "go to" store. Oh, and my husband has purchased a few things for himself, too!

My post below is from a year ago, the first time I went to Omega. This time I went because my engagement ring’s band was bent and missing diamonds. I brought it to them with the thought that it was unfixable. But of course they told me that they could do it and they did it all at a very reasonable price!!! They had it done right on schedule and it looks amazing. It looks like nothing ever happened! I am more than happy. I most definitely will be back for more. They are seriously amazing!!! Everyone at Omega were amazing. They were super nice and sized my ring in only an hour or two!!! The jeweler did a fantastic job. He even got all the scratches out, which I thought would be impossible! The salesman didn't mind to let me try on wedding bands even though he knew i wasn't going to purchase anything that day!! Omega Diamond Jewelers is a family owned and run business and it shows. They literally make you feel like family. I was getting married in a few months and needed a wedding ring. I had not found anything I liked at any other jewelry store. Mike and Melissa worked with me with such patience and kindess I felt right at home. When I couldn't find what I wanted in store they stepped in and said "let's design something special for you". And did they ever!!! It was the most beautiful ring I could ever have imagined/hoped for. Just for me! In fact it was such a wonderful experience we decided to have my fiance's ring made there too! We both have received so many complements on our rings. I cannot recommend this jewelry store and its owner's enough. They now handle all our jewelry needs.
