Despite the early hour, Rashmi was ready and waiting at 3 am to ensure I looked my absolute best on the morning of my wedding. The first thing that struck me was the longevity of the makeup. Despite the scorching summer heat in Livermore CA, my makeup remained flawless for over 8 hours. It was truly impressive and a testament to her skills. Aside from her talent, Rashmi's pleasant demeanor made the experience even more enjoyable. She was friendly, patient, and easy to work with, making the entire process stress-free. Prior to the wedding, we collaborated to find the perfect makeup look that complemented my skin tone, and she executed it flawlessly. On the big day, Rashmi transformed me into a vision of beauty. The dewy finish she achieved with my makeup gave me a radiant glow that lasted throughout the celebrations. The classic South Indian braid she styled my hair in, adorned with delicate flowers, was breathtaking and received numerous compliments. But Rashmi's talents didn't stop there. Nov 2024 Update: I had such a great experience working with Rashmi for my engagement that I took her service for all my wedding related events back to the back for the entire weekend! She was so patient and understanding of the crazy hectic schedule on my end, and she had nothing but positive thoughts and care for me. I barely got any rest that weekend and she tried her best to calm me with her gentle words and motherly nature to relax me while getting my hair/makeup done so it reduces at least some of my stress. Even when we had less time than allotted due to running behind schedule, she made sure I looked my best and didn't compromise on her work -- she patiently stayed back for professional makeup shots too even though she had to leave earlier. April 2024: I got Rashmi’s contact from a close friend, and she did such a wonderful job with my makeup and hairstyle for my engagement! She was super sweet to talk to, and took the time to explain everything to me over the phone and in person before my event. She asked me for my preferences ofc which was to not go for heavy makeup, but also suggested based on her experience what may fit well based on the extravagance of my outfit…initially the makeup appeared a little heavier cuz I wasn’t used to it but when I got fully dressed up and my hair was done, it was magical and just perfect!! Her judgement was right on and I’m so glad she suggested that! She was patient and thorough in her work and though she had to get to another appointment afterwards, she didn’t compromise on my service and was very accommodative of further touch ups too. She did such a phenomenal job that everyone complemented me on my hair and makeup throughout my function and some asked for her contact too.
