MILANO NAIL SPA CYPRESS — Local services in Cypress

This salon is HIGHLY UNPROFESSIONAL. I have come here several times as it is the closest nail salon by my house, however after today.. I am willing to drive to ANYWHERE ELSE. I came in for Gel-X set. Nancy did my nails, she asks if length is ok and at the moment I cannot see properly so I say yes and she finished. I paid, tipped and left to my car (which was parked in front of the salon). I sit in the car and inspect them. I realize they are too long! I call my mom to discuss with her because I feel BAD for the worker that I have to go back in to have them fixed. However, money is not an issue so I walk in and say “I’m sorry, my nails are too long. She asked if length is ok and I said yes, however I don’t think so anymore. Can they get fixed? I can pay.” They say yes and call her over. She looks at me with a face, i can tell she is bothered so I say “I’m sorry, it wasn’t you. I can pay don’t worry!” She sits down and try to cut very little, I tell her no more. She cuts and shapes one hand and the other is not shaped. She said it will look weird, and then says it looks ok (it doesn’t). I tell her it’s ok, can you just shape or paint over them. She says it will be a lot of work to do it.. at this point she’s made a lot of comments to the point that I am very uncomfortable. I say, you know what don’t worry about it and get up to leave. SHE GRABS ME FROM MY WRIST TIGHTLY AND REFUSES TO LET ME GO. I have to ask her to let me go. I leave very upset at what just happened, and I also just paid $97 dollars for this and my nails are half square and one is almond. I don’t know what to do, I’m debating on doing them myself at home or going to another salon. I call and explain and they tell me to come in, they’ll fix them. I explain to them that she grabbed me from my wrist and wouldn’t let me go and how she was being very rude as she did not want to do them. They said they’ll have someone else do it, ok whatever. I put my pride aside and come back in, I tell the manager herself in the front.. “can you atleast just take them off?” She says NOTHING besides sit down. Ok I sit down, they start soaking them off. I say thank you, and then she asks me to wash my hands. Once I’m done, I head to walk out. She says (the manager!!!!) excuse me that will be $17. LOL. I say what do you mean? You did not tell me that. She says it was free if they fix them, however we soaked off. That’s $17. INSANE. I tell her you should have said this from the start, I would have not even come in at all or sat back down in the chair. She told me to go, no worries. Hm. Seems like she just wanted to make a show.She was very very rude. To be a manager, crazy! You’re better going over to any other salon in the area. They don’t even do a good job. It was just convenient as it was closer. Oh, and my nails were not even fully soaked off as it still has gel. Come here if you want a gel allergy! They will definitely do that right!!! Multiple times have the cured gel polish on...

I normally go here to get my eyebrows done and have been very pleased with them as they do a good job with waxing. As a result, I decided to get my nails done here with my friend in hopes for another good experience. Unfortunatley I only have 5 fingers with nails, so only 5 that I am able to get done. I went with a simple french tip almond shape which I have never paid more than $35-40 for due to the lack of nails to get done, and lack of product use. I decided to get a chrome ontop of my french tip this time to try something new. I knew it would be a little bit more pay than usual, but not as much as they charged me. When I went to check out the price was in the 60s and when I asked "for 5 fingers?" The lady at the front said "for 8 or something like that". I wish I had 8 to get done but I dont. Then when I repeated it was only 5, she didnt change anything, just tried to justify the price. "Our sets are 60 so I only charged you 40". Now correct me if im wrong but half the fingers, half the product, half the price. She then added french tip is 8 so they made it 6 and chrome is 15 which was made 8. If we were to knock each of those in half due to me having half the fingers, I realistically shouldve paid 41.50 and I ofc planned to tip 25% or more. (However the lady who did my nails didnt even speak to me at all.) Even after trying to stand up for myself nothing was budging so I just paid and even still tipped, however I left upset and dont plan to go back somewhere that isnt accomadating to disabilities. This is highly dissapointing and I hope the owner of this franchise recognizes this issue. Unless you want to get overcharged, dont come here.

If I could give this place a minus star I would, I sent my daughter and my niece to get their nails done on Thursday 4/27 around 4pm they both had appointments, they both wanted their nails done manicure and pedicure for prom night…Well what they got was the worst service I have ever seen! Maybe since they are both young and they know that they won’t complain for bad service they went ahead and did a SLOPPY job on both of them. My daughter asked for almond shape nails which she got charged for! But she ended up getting stiletto nails Which was not what she wanted and they gave her bare nails she wanted a French tip with golden glitter tips and that’s not what she got, plus her toes are not matching the gold on her hands!! They used 2 different color golds on both her hands and toes, I was charged $120 for terrible looking nails!! My nieces nails are another story! She asked for almost shape nails, the nails they gave her are all different shapes and 2 of the nails have huge bumps on them!! How can they do that!!! Just horrible!! Her French tip is not defined it bleeds to the top I have never seen such terrible nails like this before! And they charged us $130 for her nails. What a scam!! I called on thursday after they had left to complain to the manager, of course he was gone already. I spoke with the Resectionist which insisted that those nails were exactly why my girls asked for! How can anyone ask for busted nails?? Misshaped, not the right color etc…crazy!!! I was told to call back the next day to speak to the manager, this week Thursday and Friday being prom night, has been extremely busy days do they really expect me to bring the girls back before prom to get them fixed!!!
