We've been anxiously awaiting their opening for some time now.
We were so excited to finally try it today and we were not disappointed.
We expected some delays and mistakes considering it was their 2nd day open so we wore our patience hats today.
Unfortunately, I think we were assigned the most inexperienced server, he only came to the table once, to take our appetizer order, did not know what beers they carried and seemingly forgot to put our appetizer order in because my wife had to ask for it after we noticed other tables getting their pizza.
We had the tandoori wings and garlic sticks as appetizers. Both were good but the wings could have been a bit crispier, I was pleased with how tender they were though.
We ordered the chicken curry masala pizza and it was outstanding. The flavor was spot on and there were plenty of toppings. Would have loved a chutney drizzle on top! I wonder if that's an option. Our Son had the Hawaiian pizza and he really enjoyed it.
We aren't fans of canned/bottled soda because we often like 3 or 4 refills and don't like paying each time, at their prices we would easily spend another $30-$35 per visit this way which we simply can't afford to do. we wish they had a fountain system.
Overall, we are huge fans of the curry inspired pizza and hope they take our positive criticism well. Once they iron out the kinks this will be a fabulous local spot only 1 stoplight away.
And here's to hoping the hire a few more experienced servers and develop a drink menu for their bar, because I had to get up from the table to see what they had and the server certainly didn't know.
I'll update my review in a few weeks after their team gets a little more experience under their belt.
The pizza was absolutely wonderful and we will...
Read moreHonestly, I'm not a big fan of pizza anymore. Over the years it seems like the larger chains have been lowering the quality while raising the price, and even locally owned pizzarias charge an arm and a leg for a pizza that have been "meh" at best
Last night my wife and I decided to grab a few pizzas and watch a movie. What ended up happening was we sat at the bar and talked to the owner for over an hour while drinking a few fantastic beers that they had on tap. The atmosphere was great, it was busy but not overwhelming, and very clean. The staff were very friendly and the food came out in a timely manner.
When we got home I had assumed I was going to eat nearly an entire pizza by myself like I usually do (don't judge me) but I was wrong, the sheer amount of toppings made 4 slices an entire meal for me, and it was delicious. Each medium pizza we ordered was atleast the equivalent of a large pizza at most pizzarias weve tried, so order accordingly.
The price definitely is worth it for the quality and volume of toppings, we still have an entire pizza in the fridge that I didn't expect to be there and will probably last us...
Read moreI had high hopes for my second visit here the first time I only had drinks at this restaurant, but unfortunately, it was a huge disappointment. I ordered my pizzas to go, and in hindsight, I should have checked them before leaving. I specifically ordered a thin-crust, extra crispy BBQ chicken pizza with cilantro for my wife. While the pizza was cooked properly, it didn’t seem like it was thin crust, and the cilantro was missing entirely. As for my own order, I got the meat lovers pizza—thin crust and crispy. However, what I received was a regular crust pizza with barely any meat. It was embarrassing how little was on it—no ham, no bacon—just oversized pepperoni slices and a few pieces of beef. Had the weather not been so bad, I would have turned around and demanded the correct order. But after this experience, I will probably not return, this is Houston there are too many options out there. I certainly won’t recommend this place to anyone. This was a complete letdown. At least David the Bartender was friendly and by the review of my receipt the order was put...
