"Mimosas, Music, and Amazing Service" 08-29-2025
Although my 50th birthday was on 08/19, I celebrated a little later because I was tied up finishing my summer school college courses. Finals and midterms had me locked down and drained, but I made it through.
As a birthday gift, my daughter treated me to a full set and pedicure here. It had been well over a year since I last had my nails and feet done; so, you can just imagine the condition of my hands, but especially my feet (lol, don't ask!).
When I told the owner, Jesse, that I was celebrating my 50th, she immediately lit up and wished me a happy birthday. The next thing I know, I hear the pop of a champagne bottle, and Jesse is shouting "Happy Birthday!" to put the spotlight on me. She brought me a mimosa, strong, tasty, and just what I needed. Once I finished it, she happily refilled my glass. She even complimented me, telling me how young I look for 50, which made me grin from ear to ear. One thing about this Leo is that I love compliments (lol).
Between the mimosas and the relaxing foot massage from Tony, I started drifting off to sleep. Tony handled my pedicure like a true pro, no hesitation, even with a little dry skin (okay, a LOT of dry skin in my case).
Meanwhile, Tina came over to work on my nails. She was so friendly and funny, keeping me laughing the whole time, at least whenever I could keep my eyes open. Then, out of nowhere, the music stopped and the Happy Birthday song came on. Jesse came out with a huge chocolate cupcake topped with a lit candle while everyone, customers and staff alike, sang to me. She had me blow out the candle and make a wish. What a thoughtful and warm gesture. She truly touched my heart and sealed the deal for me; this is officially my new nail spot.
I was beyond satisfied with the work Tony and Tina did on my feet and nails, and I made sure to tip them both.
Overall, this place is unlike any other nail salon I've visited. Customer service is clearly Jesse's top priority. She walks the floor often, checking on everyone, making sure drinks are topped off, and ensuring that her customers feel taken care of. Her positive, refreshing energy sets the tone, and I especially loved the 80s music playing in the background; it added to the fun and relaxing vibe.
Thank you so much, Jesse, for your warm and welcoming hospitality; you made my 50th birthday celebration extra special. I'll definitely be back for my next pedicure and refill.

Read moreThis post is from my wife Brooke Lyon. Went in today to get manicure. Was told 30 min wait. An hour later she is still waiting. Not offered any refreshments of any kind. When the stylist finally comes to do the manicure, she's told she will have to pick a different color because they are out of the color she picked. Had an hour to relay that info and waited til she was about to begin to decide to tell her. After cutting her finger, proceeds to blame the cut on her skin being dry. Doesn't bother to apply any disinfectant to the cut. Applies the clear coat, then leaves her waiting while she goes to massage another customers neck. Another Manicurist applies the fist coat of paint then leaves again. Have to wait for the original stylist to come back to finish the manicure. When my wife makes a comment to the manager at checkout, you'd think an apology would be given, instead she states with as much attitude as she can muster, well you can see that I'm running around the spa busy. I can't help it that I'm short staffed. She then had the nerve to act indignant when my wife chose not to tip. Wife's been going there since they opened. Thanks to the manager, this was probably the last time she will patron venus nail spa. Called the owner to discuss the experience and was again told she can't help it if they are busy and that she is not the owner and that If she had a problem with the experience she should call the owner on tue because it wasn't the...
Read moreI don’t normally leave reviews, but I feel like leaving one this time. So I just went to get my nails done in this place for the second time. My nail technician Kevin is phenomenal and he does AMAZING job, BUT the receptionist today just got on my nerves. I don’t know if she’s the owner, not that it matters whatsoever, but WOW!! What a way to chase a customer away and make them never want to come back. Kevin charged me $55 which seems decent, right? My nails are medium in length, I did nothing special with them, just got white powder and on a couple of nails he put some sparkly foil. This lady instead of just completing my transaction and letting me go on my merry way, stopped me to tell me how Kevin didn’t charge me enough, there is extra $5 for this, extra $5 for that, extra $5 for coffin nails and I didn’t even ask for coffin nails. WHY??? What was the purpose of that???? Kevin set the price and that’s his price. It seems like Kevin wants to keep his customers, but this lady seems to want to chase them away. I’m confused. But THANK YOU KEVIN, I LOVE YOU AND YOUR JOB!! My nails...
