Sky Nail Spa — Local services in Cypress

I have been here a few times, but after today it will definitely be my last. The service and attention were awful. The manager was very rude and disrespectful. I took my daughter to get her nails and toes done for her special dance. As we are getting a pedicure the older lady just started polishing her nails without asking what color. I told her we had something in mind. The manager than asks what color. So I show her a picture. She said well choose from here. I still didn’t see an issue, next the older lady doesn’t polish her toes and walks to another client. My daughter is than called by Tina and starts to put fake nails on her. I’m not able to get up as I’m getting a pedicure, I then tell her, no I don’t want her to get fake nails, just clip and polish. The manager than asked what I wanted her to get, I told I want her nails clipped and polish like the pic. She gives my daughter the nail samples and she’s just confused looking at me. Tina then has my daughter show me the dip powder to see if that’s the color I want. (How can I tell if she didn’t polish it, it was literally the powder) I ask her can you do one so I can see if it goes with her dress. The manager then asked again what do you want, at this point I told her I want what I showed you. Then she goes off talking to the rest in her native language as if she’s upset. As this is going on, she is able to take care of another mom and daughter with all the care and attention in the world. Then she has my daughter sit on the pedicure chair to finish her toes and her nails are not even finished yet. At this point, I decided to tell her that I felt she was very rude and disrespectful. I told her you have given the other mom and daughter your full attention and you have not done that with us. She blows off, yelling and screaming at me. She did not even let me finish what I had to say and told me she will talk first because I told her she was rude and disrespectful. She said she had to translate to Tina because she did not speak English. I even told her I’m not yelling at you for you to get this loud. I just would have love to get the service the other mom received . As she was having my 14 year old daughter make the decisions. I told her the same way you would ask the other mom for what she wanted, that’s how you needed to address this situation. She just kept yelling and said she was busy with other customers that’s why she gave me the nail samples. Then she just walks away furious. Then Tina asked if this is what I wanted for my daughter. ( I thought she didn’t speak English) At the end, I ended up paying $124 to get yelled by the manager and for a service and outcome that I was not satisfied with.They charged for design and tip when all they did was add glitter to her toes and nails. Got my eyebrows threaded there for the first time and asked for a clean up and for my thickness to remain. She said she was done two times and both times I had to ask her to clean up the small hairs that remained and to make the bottom part look neat. Finally I asked her to just pluck the small hairs because she couldn’t get it done with the thread.The lady put a hole in my left brow after she started plucking the main brow and not the bottom hairs (all while I’m holding the mirror looking at her). I asked her to stop because in order to fix them she would have to thin them out. She got the manager and the manager got belligerent and yelled at me saying my eyebrows were like that when I came in and the lady didn’t know English etc. I asked her to lower her voice after her yelling at me saying they had cameras. I told her to pull the footage because my eyebrows were clearly uneven and I knew exactly how I came in there. I wasn’t upset at the lady who did my brows, I was upset about how the manager was speaking to me. Instead of trying to see how things could be fixed she just yelled at me, said racial slurs, and tried to call me a liar. My eyebrows look worse than when I came in after 3 attempts by the lady who did them. They’re not neat at all. And she STILL tried to charge me full price which I refused to pay....

Just don’t go there and waist your money and time, Worst nail salon I have ever been, I went on October 27 for a powder refill, and shellac nail color on top, I asked for nude powder color and she got surprised and said it’s not easy to do?!! Not sure why nude is hard to do??! Plus on November 3 the shellac color started chipping away and on November 5 the powder started separating from the nails???!! Really?! It’s not even a week, my nails usually stay in good shape for 3 weeks, with this place it didn’t even last for a week, and I don’t mention the bad shape of my nails, bad finishing. I told them I just moved to Cypress and if I it I would be their forever customer. Usually it takes me one hour to get manicure and pedicure, this time almost 2 hours just...
