Had the chicken tenders and for some reason they didnt taste right at all. There were large pieces of connective tissue and fat from the chicken still in the pieces. The texture was mushy like rice pudding, was not crunchy at all. I have been working on eating better the last year but we were going to be out for a while shopping for the kids before school starts back up. Chicken was probably the best option for that, well I was hoping it was and it was an atrocious experience. To be honest I'll more then likely won't visit this place again. Chicken Tenders weren't crunchy, crispy nor had they no real desirable flavor. And since 2 of us ordered them we just wasted money. We weren't close to return the food or I would have brought it back and asked for my money back. Had our stomachs doing the 2 step for about a good 20 minutes. Couldn't even get out the car to shop since I felt so nauseous for a minute there. Thank goodness it went away so we could finish our day of school shopping. So I do not recommend this place at all.

Read moreOriginally this location was great and it was really well staffed and maintained but over the last few years it’s just being completely neglected and it seems like ownership is just not interested in investing in the location and properly staffing it.
The drive thru has issues with taking one form of payment or another, it seems like it always takes longer than other sonics because either there aren’t enough staff on hand or they’re having to wait till people get to the window to explain an issue.
Corporate needs to come in and force the franchisee to invest in modernizing this location and keeping it up to normal standards. This location desperately needs a new PA system for taking and placing orders and they need to start accepting all regular forms of payment instead of forcing customers to drive up only to find out they aren’t accepting whatever form of payment the customer planned on using and wasting their time.
The staff are always super kind and I honestly don’t think the issues have anything to do with the staff, it seems like they are just forced to operate a location without the proper tools or leadership to allow them operate effectively and efficiently as other sonics.
Hopefully, corporate or the franchisee decides to give this location the proper investment and resources to make this location on or with other...

I eat low carb and like to order a burger with no bun and extra veggies. This isn't an uncommon request and most fast food chains can accommodate the request. The locations in Tomball and in Pinehurst have never had issues with making my order without bread. The people at this location get so confused. I mean, it's a burger. Hold the bun. It's not like I'm asking for a Tofu Burger or a shot of wheat grass at a place that clearly doesn't offer those. The person taking the order was completely put out. She said she couldn't enter the order because there was no"button to push for that ". She got snippy and was completely and my husband suggested we leave before they " mess with our food ". Not saying that has happened but i don't ytust angry servers as s rule. We left and went to the location in Tomball. My "burger salad" was made without ceremony and it was awesome!
