Well stocked, good prices. Derrick (cashier) in particular is absolutely beyond fantastic. I've never seen a cashier this fast and good in my life. No matter what time of day, he's always been /ridiculously/ fast, directs people to his station, and no matter what time of day he is extremely upbeat, and has friendly, charismatic, rejuvenating good vibes, asks all the customers how we're doing - not as a robotic greeting, but out of gregariousness and with the intent to make memorable impactful friendly chit chat for the quick moments he's checking all the items out (which again is a short time because of how quick he is). He's engaged, connects well, day in and day out, and doesn't mentally check out, or show a hint of boredom, ennui, or exhaustion towards the end of the day and is the opposite of lazy. If I'm shopping towards the end of the day, I'm often tired and burnt out myself but his peppy pleasant energy is rejuvenating. Budget friendly shopping with some assembly required. Worth it.
The trade off for the options and lower pricing is that you will need to walk around the store and look to find the Aldi version of name brand products that you are looking for, while navigating through limited name brand products - they are there!

The cashier will walk you through the process of leaving your cart and taking a new one to the bagging counter where you bag, or box, your purchase. Then you return your cart for your quarter - unless you are slick and use the other end of a traditional key (fobs don't work).
A few trips and you will get the hang of...

Needless to say, they lose a lot of my busiiness. Their chocolier chocolate is great. Also the German bean soup.Briochi loaves very good, even found Briochi hot dog buns. Store mostly well kept. Lady worker helped me find the Angus Italian meatballs and bacon wrapped dates from their freezer. I found some delicious lemon filled short bread cookies and sponge cake, raspberry filled , chocolate covered cookies that I love. Bought two of each. I also found a Gheridelli box mix that makes a shortbread cookie that you can turn into a peanur butter cookie and then you top with their chocolate. I made the Hershey Blossom recipe this year which looks very similar. Gheridelli is the better chocolate. Some sale items were found in store like gummy Christmas shaped ones, Christmas...
