āļø*DO NOT COME HEREāļø This place is a real joke! Let's start with the unprofessional staff that place several reminder calls at random. One a week before the office visit, 1 the day BEFORE and a call the day of, just to remind you they NEED your business, along with your encouraged GOOGLE REVIEWS. I received a call at 7:41am for a 1pm appointment, after already verifying a few times that I was coming to my appointment. That isn't even business hours, how inconsiderate of peoples time and home life. There was a huge spider in the lobby crawling around. Another parent took it upon herself to kill it, how disgusting!! 𤮠My 6 year old came in for 3 crowns and sealants on 3 of her teeth. She left with a huge laceration in her mouth that required stitches. The dentist ADEMOLA COLE, mentioned briefly that the stitches were needed, but failed to tell me HOW she obtained the laceration. I paid $150 for NON IV conscious sedation, which means she should have only gotten "laughing gas." This dentist was unprofessional in NOT explaining in detail how my daughter's INNER bottom lip was sliced open and required stitches. They insisted on me not being back there with her during treatment, apparently to protect OTHER patients privacy that was being taken care of in the surrounding rooms. The fact that he didn't disclose the incidents detail is worrisome. Now I know why they closed the sliding door which gave me a clear view of the room my daughter was being treated in, why they never volunteered updated information on how the treatment was going and how she was responding. These are questions that I had to ask several times to ensure she was receiving proper treatment, without me being in the room.
WARNING PARENTS, please seek alternative dental services for yourself and your children. There are hundreds of dental offices in the DFW to choose from, that will provide exceptional and honest services. I chose them because they appeared to be kid friendly, but there unethical business practices, lack of professionalism and unclean work areas are proof that this was a poor choice on my part, DON'T MAKE THE SAME MISTAKE!! AVOID THIS PARTICULAR DENTAL FRANCHISE

Ā Ā Ā Read moreI have not even been in for my first appointment yet, but the ladies who answer the phones are absolutely unprofessional. They called me eight times in one day to ask questions that I had answered on the first phone call. Not only did they talk over me, and completely ignore everything I had told them, but they sounded untrained in speaking to the insurances. At one point I had to stop them and tell them that they were consistently stating my father's name wrong--I had just told them they were saying it wrong three different times-- to which they replied "No, I have it here." As if I wouldn't know my own father's name....
One of the ladies, Jessica, told me that she had contacted my insurance and that they told her I was no longer insured. Knowing this to be untrue, I followed up our conversation with a call to the insurance. They told me that they knew who I was talking about, because of her unprofessional demeanor, and that they absolutely did not tell her I was uninsured. Rather, they needed more information before they would answer her questions--for security reasons.
I understand that the secretarial staff may not reflect on the quality of work by the Dentist, so I am more than happy to continue my appointment. But, the secretarial staff desperately needs training on phone etiquette, and how to speak to potential clients. If my paralegals spoke to our clients the way these secretaries talked to me, they would have been heavily reprimanded or even fired.
UPDATE: I went to my first appointment fifteen minutes early and ended up waiting an hour and fifteen minutes. I asked the ladies at the front about how much longer until I was seen. The estimated wait was another 5-10 minutes for an xray, and at least another 30min to an hour to be seen by the dentist. I ended up cancelling my daughter's, my husband's, and my own appointments on the spot. I understand that Saturday's can get backed up, but this is completely disrespectful to your client's time. If this office is aware that they are running this far behind at 10am, they need to be making calls to clients and letting them know that their appointment has been rescheduled or that there is a...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreUpdate: Thank you for acknowledging me. The staff, however, are phenomenal and they do an outstanding job.
So a little over year ago in December I had tooth problem. The very last tooth on my upper right jaw was growing towards my cheek and was hurting. I went to Bear Creek and I was given anti biotic. The xray showed an ingrown tooth in my lower gum pushing against a tooth. I was given a referral for that to be looked at. Fast forward a year later last week I decided to go in and get the tooth that was growing towards my cheek extracted. Again, I was told about the ingrown tooth and recommended a course action, which included addressing the ingrown tooth. I decided that the ingrown tooth should be put on the back burner for another time when i can afford it financially and to go ahead with extracting the one growing towards my cheek. The assistants told Carina Schwartz-Dabney what i decided. Carina came yelling at me and telling me the ingrown tooth is cancerous and that if not addressed asap it'll get pushed down and will break my jaw and that if i was her relative she'll personally be driving me to the dentist to get that addressed. I kept my cool despite her yelling at me and pointing to the x-ray screen above me. I was given some sort of waiver to sign, saying i declined the service she was irate over. I continued to lay in the recliner, waiting for the extraction. 45 minutes later, Carina's assistant comes over and told me it was going to cost me 300+ dollars out of pocket for the extraction. I could not afford it, and so i told her I have to save up for it and contact them when i have the money. She may have yelled out of concern but i certainly didn't appreciate her calling if cancerous abs telling me how it'll eventually break my jaw. I may not be going to any of the dental clinics she serves. This is not to impune her ability nor her profession but just to share how i felt at the time about her tone and choice of words.
Please don't get me wrong. My first expertise at this location was the best dentist experience ever. I called on Saturday, i think and was seen the same day. The staff and especially the dentist were...
