Cowboy Up! Best Halal Thai
My wife and I recently visited Noodle Wave in Richardson, TX and I have to say that it is hands down the best Halal Thai food!
We ordered a couple items to try at dinner. We ordered the Mongolian Beef for our main course and the Tom Yum Soup (Extra Spicy) as an appetizer. Our kids had the Kids Bento Boxes, which included chicken nuggets, fries, and apple juice.
We were pleasantly surprised when the Tom Yum Soup arrived, as it was a family-sized bowl rather than a single serving! The spicy, lemony flavor was dead on. This soup has always been my go-to comfort food when I'm feeling under the weather, but today was pure indulgence. Noodle Wave's version exceeded my expectations and set a new standard for Thai restaurants I've been to.
The Mongolian Beef was simply delicious: tender, juicy, and full of flavor. Every taste made me want more (and more). It was so excellent that we returned the next night simply to eat it again!
The service was excellent—friendly, prompt, and efficient. I appreciated that they used iPads to take orders, which made the procedure quick and easy.
The restaurant's ambience is warm and welcoming. It's large enough to host huge parties with advance notice, but cozy enough for families or couples.
I will definitely return to Noodle Wave whenever I am in the Dallas area. This restaurant has officially become a staple in my Halal food journey.

Read moreI come from a fairly small town in Florida with a crazy number of Thai restaurants. I eat Thai food 3 or more times a week. I wanted to try the Thai restaurants on my 3 day trip to Dallas. My 1st evening I arrived I found a different Thai place. It was OK. Nothing to complain about, or rave about. The next day for lunch I found Thai Noodle Wave. I'm so glad I did. I had the best lunch I've had in a long time. I ate a lot, I got the Herbal Chicken appetizer. It was awesome how they prepared it. So delicious, and the Sriracha sauce gave it that kick i love. My main dish was Tom Kha Gai soup. I get that occasionally at home and love it. This had something extra special to it, it was amazing. So, my 3 day trip, I couldn't leave without coming back the next and final day. This time for dinner. I knew I had to have the herbal chicken appetizer again, but thought I'd try something else, even though I loved the Tom Kha Gai. I took a chance on a dish I wasnt familiar with. Aroy D Curry Soup. AMAZING! Everything was amazing. The staff is great and courteous, and attentive. The atmosphere is very nice. I highly recommend it to everyone And lucky for you Texans, there's apparently 4 locations. I hope they're equally as good. But take my word for it, im some what of a Thai cuisine expert, this...
Read moreLove the food here. Great flavors, simple to crazy and everything in between. I've eaten here so many times. The only complaint and it is a significant problem is i had hoped over time this place would become more organized and efficient. The last 3 times I've eaten here I've ordered take out, I've waited over an 45 each time to pick up a meal. All times after waiting 30+ min at home before going to pick up that's 75 min turn around time plus I still have to get home and eat it. You're talking sometimes a 2 hour ordeal. This has been a problem over and over again. Probably ordered take out from this place over 100 times, NEVER been prompt, or on time. Same with delivery, same with the wait for seating. It's always 15,20,30,60 minutes longer than they originally anticipate and coincidentally the food is cold. Never once have i had an offer to make things right or recieved an apology. This drives me nuts as i love the food but the experience is terrible for take out and delivery, and that doesn't even include the 5ft x 5ft waiting area that fits 3 people. I feel like cattle standing heel to toe with the person in Front and behind me. I keep thinking they will get better but seems things are moving in the wrong direction and they are becoming more and more willingly ignorant to the...
