This took place on later part of the evening around 10:30pm on June 26th 2025.
The employees at this establishment appear to be unfamiliar with their own menu, which seems to be quite challenging. Despite their efforts to perform basic tasks, the quality of their work is consistently subpar. I have placed two orders through Uber Eats, only to receive incorrect orders due to their lack of knowledge. After placing the orders, when I had called to speak with the worker, I was informed that I would receive a Sweet Lassi because two desserts had been canceled on Uber Eats However, this didn’t happen as I was expecting as a diabetic (since I needed something with sugar-globose)
I specifically requested medium spicy food, but the dish served was far from spicy. The buffet offered a limited selection of three curries, one naan, one appetizer, and two desserts. Unfortunately, two items were missing from the order. Desert and Appetizer which was part of the dish.
Upon calling the restaurant, I engaged in a conversation with a worker who attempted to justify the situation by claiming that the appetizer should have been naan, as if the customers were not intelligent enough to understand the difference. This response was dismissive and lacked any genuine attempt to address the issue. I requested the name of the restaurant’s owner, but he refused to provide it. When I inquired about who I was speaking with (his name) and he could not share it.
The owner’s name is Lasath Hikkaduwage. It is evident that the owners of this restaurant do not have a clear understanding of how to effectively manage their establishment. If I had the opportunity, I would strongly advise against patronizing this establishment.
In conclusion, the employees at this restaurant demonstrate a lack of knowledge and competence in communicating, plus their duties and undertaking perhaps lack of language is what’s causing this. If I had a way I would given them 0. Not once but they have done the same thing twice. They do not check the order, and it ends up costing the customers bunch of fees on Uber Eats plus bigger tips, just to find out the menu items show but...
Read moreIf I could give zero stars I would. Drove 10 miles to pick up my food to support a place i ordered from on Uber eats. Such poor customer service. Arrived and were not even greeted (even though we were the only people in the restaurant) . Offense#1 Handed the guy my card at the counter and he returned it by placing it on the counter. Offense #2 my husband and I were not even handed our food nor did the guy make a remark on which bag was ours. We had to ask " is this our food"? We werent even thanked upon exiting as with most establishments with good customer service. Sucks that people will judge you based on the color of your skin. A place that was once my favorite on UberEats unfortunately will no longer be supporting this establishment. Sometimes it's good to frequent these places in person to see who...
Read moreIt was my third time going to the weekend buffet there. With each visit, the service is getting worse. There's no one to attend, we had to call several times and knock on the kitchen door for water and naan. The food is always dried out, either due to the temperature of the buffet counter or because it has been sitting out for too long. We even complained about this last time, and they said their machine has an issue, making it impossible to control the temperature of the buffet counter. However, it was the same this time as well. The buffet is scheduled to run until 2 a.m., but there isn't enough food in the trays by 9 p.m. If they don't intend to serve the buffet properly, they should clearly say so and close the buffet counter. They don't care about customer service. We might not go...
