Extremely poor management. Buyers are the lifeblood of this facility and we are ignored. DMC persists in spurning the buyers and refuses to listen to requests made by both buyers and tenants. Tenants are NOT going to stay if the rent continues to rise and buyers stop coming. Eventually it will reach the point of diminishing returns, if indeed it has not already. The lifeblood of this facility is regional customer. DMC is NOT a nationwide draw. We have much better options to travel to markets which value our presence. Most of the buyers that I spoke to on my June visit( first in a LONG while) drove in. The parking seems to be taken up by taxis, valet parking and vendors. Shuttle service is good if you are already checked into your hotel and don't mind wasting time by leaving market early to return to collect your car. I would have spent several thousand dollars more if I had been able to drive right up to the mart upon arrival instead of checking into hotel and waiting on shuttle, and if I had not had to leave the market early upon departure to collect my belongings and check out. I missed several key vendors who were on my list and was not able to make the Rawlins market tour, which is a big attraction...

We were there for the toy preview show.
The exhibitors on the 4th and 8th floors were great.
However the 12 5th floor where most of the temporary exhibitors were was very bad. Mostly closed booths... and those that weren't at blocked by the closed booths. I feel bad for those exhibitors.

Beware...The DART train to the market station while it works great, it is a bit of a hike to get from the train, Thurgood the parking garage and to the market, however it lands you on the back side of the market with no way inside unless your a permanent badge holder. So it ultimately is...
Read moreFirst off, Diversifying Solutions woman is terribly rude. The minute u go in, she immediately asked me if I was ready to place an order. I explained I'd never ordered, much less seen the merchandise. She looked me up and down in an extremely judgy way and asked me if I had a business. Noooo of course not, I just walked in off the street. I know she didn't think I was up to her standards. Long blonde haired middle aged woman. Yep youre on blast.....Beware. The snottiness around here is extreme. A big turn off. Please treat ALL people equally. Just because we aren't the right color or dressed right doesn't mean we won't buy. I dropped thousands that day at El Paso & Botanical Mix and 6th Avenue. Thank you Shane and Joel (long hair, looks like a fashion model) These vendors are extremely helpful...
