We did Resort Pass and visited on a Monday. Good experience. Yes, food and drinks are expensive, but that is to be expected at a nice resort pool. Arrive early to get a shaded chair and avoid the crowds, but even by the afternoon it wasn't too busy. The lazy river is awesome. Has some bridges and shady spots, surrounded by nice plants, 3 feet deep. They provide free blue float tubes for the river. Connected to the river is a kids play area, basketball pool area, and a dumping bucket. The current in the river was nice and swift so you can ride for hours in circles! By 1:00, the water was pretty warm and it was hard to cool off. Here's all the things I wanted to know before going. No, you can't bring a cooler or your own drinks or food. You can bring them to the room and leave them there! You can bring an insulated cup for water. No glass. No, you can't bring your own floats. Yes, you can bring your own bag with towels and clothes in. Consider water shoes. It is HOT walking on the cement. There is a swim up bar with a pool for adults, but there were little kids in there too. The bar opened at 11. The adult pool was too hot to stay in, not sure why. But like bathwater hot. Margaritas were good and strong, $20 each with gratuity. You can have drinks in the adult pool while you walk around, but not the lazy river. To order food and more drinks, you scan a QR code and order on your phone, then they deliver to your numbered chair (even if you don't pay for chairs, they have free ones with number flags). You can also go to the grab and go area and pick up food. This is over by the kiddie play area. There are restrooms there. The QR menu has more options than the grab and go menu. Great day overall. Good service, food was fresh, drinks were good. I would say if you do Resort Pass, plan to spend $100 to $150 a person for entrance, lunch, and 2 or 3 drinks with tips. Oh...bring your ID and a credit card. They didn't take cash. ...
Read moreSuper great super small. A lot of social media people taking pictures. That’s -100 in my thought. Not what I want be around with my kids. My kids and I had great time with our resort day pass. The website states they have no life guards and they did. Very young ones. Tell me why a family rented a cabana. Started just to take pictures of their set up and their damn 1-2 year old baby just walked up to the pool almost near fell in. I kept saying baby baby. The grandma of the group looks at me crazy like I’m a narc or something else. Water deaths in children are extremely quick and quiet. They help baby back to the cabana and still everyone who comes is taking pictures. No one is paying attention to the baby. The baby again tries to get in the pool. One of the males eventually grabs her and with one arm held dunks her over and over again in the pool. Scare the baby so she won’t go in? She’s proper scared yet like a child wants to be part of the fun. Get it but don’t get it. She’s a baby. When that was happening life guard just got out her chair to observe. No other staff talked to them. No body said that wasn’t okay. I had to up and leave that situation with my own kids to another area and...

There are indoor pools as well! During afternoon time, there are fun games all the kids can join into! They have little pool parties at certain times of the day, and at 7:30 one night, they had a root beer party! I can guarantee you that you'll have a blast swimming and hanging out! Besides Jade Waters Resort itself, the inside of Hilton Anatole really is fabulous! They even have little stores and shops with clothes...
