This Dr is very rude & uses improper language to his patients, he also accused me of having a drug habit behavior when I have never used drugs or smoked a day in my life! Which I don’t appreciate to be accused of!.Secondly,after my procedure he had a hard time getting the problem resolved because he couldn’t even reach the kidney stone with the stint he put in place & never consulted with me about it after recovery which is why I asked the nurse to contact him about getting my pain under control & mind you I was in so much pain afterwards that I was up for two nights in a row seeking some kind of relief so that I could go to sleep! After realizing that he wasn’t going to show up or even try to resolve the problem I spoke with the case manager on duty and told her the situation and asked them to personally get in touch with him to find out what the next step would be to adjust my pain and health issues! But instead this Dr decided to call me back anonymously just to accuse me of making things up as to how to reach him since they would not! Just to tell me not to call his office seeking relief for pain when in fact he was the one that went in to put a stint inside around the kidney stone that I cant pass just to say the least so I’m sitting in a hospital bed restless from the procedure blood pressure sky high with uncontrollable pain only for him to call me just to accuse me of lying and being a drug seeker which I have never ever done drugs of any kind whatsoever in my life!! So I am appalled and upset and in shock that he would dare accuse me of something that I absolutely despise of and the only reason I allowed this man to work on me as an emergency alternative is because the hospital recommended him to me and he came on call pretending to care and be concerned about my situation! Which obviously he is not! And ladies and gentlemen the kidney stone is still there?’ With the stint! So what is wrong with with me calling him to get answers or get a solution as to what the next step would be? But instead he wants to insult me by accusing me of being a drug seeker??? When I have never touched or used drugs a day in my entire life! Maybe I should seek help the legal way to resolve this because I don’t appreciate being mistreated talked to crazy all because I was me mentally exhausted and drained from being up for two nights trying to get in touch with him after hours to get some answers and some type of relief instead he just hangs up in my face! Which is very unprofessional so at this point I refuse to deal with a Dr that only cares about his pockets his feelings and not my health or well being and I will definitely get a second opinion regarding his nonchalant attitude towards me and his behavior and actions towards his patient especially a new one! Maybe my next step is to consult with a lawyer because at the end of the day you should always be able to reach a doctor or the next person in charge! But instead he hung up in my face and called me a liar so say less Dr. French and for future references never bite off more than you can do or chew because at the end of the day we all have to answer to someone...

My husband saw Dr. French and had a procedure done with him as well. Dr. French was very thorough, friendly and knowledgeable about my husband’s condition. His office staff however have been a nightmare to deal with. We tried for 2 months, on 5 different occasions to get his medical records faxed to my specialist office without success. Thus, leaving us to drive 3 and a half hours out of town where we live to physically pick up his records to get to my doctor that had been requesting them for over 2 months. Also, before his procedure we were apparently suppose to receive a packet with instructions and the nurses number to call the morning of the procedure when my husband arrived at their facility. We never received anything in the mail, and never got a packet or instructions in his office during the consult. I received a phone call the morning of my husband’s procedure (also morning of my own procedure) from a nurse who seemed irritated my husband was 10 minutes late, when in fact he had been knocking on their locked office door for 20 minutes. The office seemed very disorganized, as the nurse stated that morning that anesthesia should have called my husband preop the night before the procedure, in which he did not receive a call. This ordeal the morning of our procedures caused my own blood pressure to rise and almost delay my own procedure. All of our issues and added stress could of been avoided if his staff personnel had done their jobs and sent us the proper instructions and paperwork, as well as seemed concerned that their was an issue with their medical records unit. I know we will have to use a urologist again soon, and I cannot say that if we use Dr. French’s office again that I look forward to dealing with the office staff. The staff did however call me from multiple departments to collect payment for the procedure and anesthesia without delay. The infertility journey is stressful enough without the added stress of people not doing their jobs. My husband had an appointment scheduled for May 19th, 2023. We waited well over a month for this appointment, both took off of work, made calls to insurance, worked on getting medical history sent over, etc. The staff text me to let me know it was cancelled the NIGHT before the appointment. Never once did they apologize or act like there was anything wrong with it. I totally understand stuff comes up, but then they proceed to offer us the ‘next available’ appointment that is over a month from that date. I’d assume they would offer priority availability and booking to patients whom they cancel on so last minute with no apology or explanation. Since Dr. French was spoken of so highly, I decided to look past it and book another appointment for September 20th, 2023. Once again, we both take off work. They just text me again (September 15th) to let me know, it too, would be cancelled. I thought it was a joke, honestly. The nurse this time did offer an apology, but yet again- the next appointment they could offer was now October 8th… The explanation I got was that, “No one would be available to see us.” Isn’t that the point of an appointment? I questioned as to why I was able to book if no one would be available. She claimed he was available when we booked the appointments, but conveniently wasn’t right before both appointments. As stated previously, I am really understanding- but they didn’t offer a valid reason for either appointment being canceled.
