Disappointed with the way the appointment was handled, though the massage itself was okay… Now I truly understand why this place has such a low overall rating.

I’ve been a regular customer for a while, ever since my first visit when I happened to get a therapist whose technique I really liked. Even after they raised prices and started charging more than expected, I didn’t say anything—I kept coming back because it was worth it for that specific therapist.

I called ahead to confirm that my preferred therapist would be available at a specific time, and she said yes. I drove 20 minutes to get there.. 🥺

But right before I arrived, she suddenly called back to say that he was actually booked with someone else, and that I could either wait over an hour or switch to “whoever is on turn”.

No apology, no explanation—just an assumption that I should be fine with having someone else, even though I clearly made a specific request and confirmed it ahead of time.

This kind of attitude is completely unacceptable.

If I didn’t care who I got, I wouldn’t have called in advance, and I definitely wouldn’t have driven all the way here. There are plenty of massage places near my home. I came here for one reason—and they failed to respect that.

To casually switch my appointment to "whoever is on turn" without any responsibility or sincere apology shows not only a lack of professionalism, but a total disregard for customer experience.

Whether the woman who handled this is a receptionist or someone in charge, the way she dealt with the situation says a lot about the management of this place.

The first time I had a combo massage here, it was literally the best massage of my life! Despite the bad reviews, I was so excited to come again. Jokes on me. This was the most distracting and non relaxing massage I have ever received. Throughout the ENTIRE massage, the man kept trying to suck the food out of his teeth, clearing his throat and sighing. Not only that, he kept texting throughout. I literally opened my eyes multiple times and saw him on his phone. Not once but TWICE did he have his phone right next to my ear and a video on his phone accidentally played out loud. But that’s not all! It came time to pay. He swipes my card and hands me the receipt to tip. I have to ask for my card back multiple times before signing the receipt. Once I get that back, I leave a tip even though I wanted to leave none. And then he tries to raise his voice at me telling me nothing less than 20%. I literally had to laugh out loud and went through every little thing I mentioned above to him in front of his coworkers sitting in the lobby. I have never had such an experience. I’ve been to many a massage parlor and this is my opinion of this place: you get what you pay for, some people complain that the “private rooms” are not private or quiet enough. Well, this isn’t a high class spa, they just want you to have some privacy rather than beds lined side by side in open space. They do a good job in terms of how hard to massage you and asking if you would want to have a longer massage.
