Lakewood Village — Local services in Dallas

Lakewood Village is at the corner of Gaston and Garland Road. The Shopping Center has a variety of different stores. There's a Starbucks for your morning Java fix right next to a Cane's Chicken which is good for a yummy snack or lunch. There is a workout place and an IHOP right across the parking lot. Ace Hardware anchors the back part of the parking lot and has the most helpful employees ever. Not only can they direct you to the right aisle for the right piece of hardware they can give you helpful hints on how to repair things if you're a DIY person. There's a Tom Thumb right next to Ace and PetSmart right next to Tom Thumb. I've never been in the mobile phone store or the day spa, salon and nail place. And I hope to never need the emergency room that is anchors the other end of the parking lot. This is one of my first memories coming to Big D! The old Lakewood Theater is a classic, and a most simple thing to do is meet a good friend at Starbucks. The service is amazing, and amazingly good and fast. Sit inside or outside. I remember my daughter’s favorite umpteen years ago: a venti mocha frapachino- and add a dash of vanilla and cinnamon powder. That was my first beverage there, and my favorite when I think of all the wonderful years...

Love Hudson House! The vibe here is amazing! I totally felt I was on the West Coast and I could walk outside to a beach front and sit with a cocktail.

The service is impressive and very attentive, they are very friendly and definitely add to the ambiance.

Highly recommend for a client luncheon or even if you want to "escape" the city vibe...
