My family recently ordered pick up from Lovers Pizza & Pasta; we all enjoyed everything we ordered. This charming Italian restaurant (BYOB!) offers a convenient location with plenty of parking. We order for delivery or pickup and always experience friendly service from the employees. They use authentic Italian recipes and fresh ingredients which make everything taste delicious and flavorful! We like that they offer three varieties of pizza - thin, thick, and gourmet - in four sizes starting at 12 inches. You can also order pizza by the slice. We usually order thin crust and like to choose the “build your own” option. The pastas come with two small garlic rolls and a side salad with your choice of dressing. The fried calamari, fried to perfection, comes with two sauces including one marinara sauce. The larger portion sizes allow for plenty of leftovers which taste just as good the next day! Overall, we really love Lovers Pizza & Pasta and look forward to trying the other entrees and sandwiches next time we order! With an expansive menu, they can satisfy any Italian...
Read moreThis is by far the best pizza I had in Dallas (and I tried piggies pizza, Greenville ave, scalini's , cigarz bona and more.I don't want to even mention all the big chains..).
The right amount of cheese, not to much sauce, fresh veggies, baked to right crust without burning the pie and the sauce is tasteful and unique. The price is actually LESS then what they can charge for that quality pizza...
The only reason I gave 4 stars is the delivery service. They say they open till 10pm but they stopped deliver before (it's depend if the driver left or not...) I called at 9:25 the couldn't deliver, once I called at 9:40 and they came... the only good thing about the big chains is that you know exactly when and what you will get...
If the pizza wasn't that good I would give them 3 stars because of the service, but who cares I'l continue eating here. If I'l ask for service Il go eat pizza at the...
Read moreI called in an order on my way home for Pasta Alfredo/chicken, and after I picked it up and got home to eat it, there was a long brown hair I was pulling out of my teeth- all the while still tangle in the pasta container it came in. That said, I called them to remake it, and got back out in the rain to pick it up... This time there was no chicken in the remade dish; and after I came back and said something, it appeared as though I was putting these people out... Come on man, you charged me $15 for a dish of pasta: get it right... I just told them to keep it and drove home slightly peeved... Not sure that I'll return to this location... Nevertheless, I definitely won't recommend it for take out pasta. I'm totally bummed, I gotta look for another local pasta...
