Target — Local services in Daly City

NOT WORTH GOING TO.

I had to do a grocery run and I wanted to buy a PS5 controller if they had one. I went up to the 2nd floor and found out that the controllers were locked, as they should be. So I tried to find someone to help me and waited near the counter where it says someone can check out your items. An employee saw me but she ignored me and went down to the 1st floor. So I tried to find someone else but to no avail, so just said forget it and went towards the elevator cause I had a cart with me.

Then an employee came up the escalator and I decided not to bother asking cause I was not in the mood anymore. But this guy actually followed me to the elevator and said "oh I'm hiding from someone." but I ignored him. So the employee left me when he realized I was just doing groceries. I went up the register and waited for an employee just to tell them my experience and how it made me feel anxious and embarassed because they made me feel like I was stealing when I wasn't.

Definitely do not go to this Target unless it's an emergency. Even then, there's Walgreens next door and they have employees that handle the situation better than Westlake Target. It's more worth it to drive 10 to 15 mins to Serramonte Target or Colma because they have more items and more employees...

UPDATE: I LOVE THIS TARGET!!!! I was next door at Walgreens Pharmacy to pick up my meds and had a hankering for something special for dinner. Trader Joes is too crowded on Sundays and so is Safeway and furthermore quite a distance from Walgreens. Well, I had narrowed it down to steak and boom Target carried ribeye steak! and the yellow onion, mushrooms and plum tomatoes (and butter which I didn't have either - I sauteed these three specific vegetables with oil and butter to top my steak with) to prepare my dinner with. While I was there of course I picked up other essentials and non essentials the A1 sauce and tabasco ollipop drinks, TP/Paper towels, ground coffee, creamer, etc. I am simply IN LOVE with the small format of this store yet it carries everything I could need at any given time! I am writing this as I just finished up my dinner and am completely satisfied! THANK U TARGET for coming to Westlake

Depressing experience, especially right before a trip to Japan which is opposite-land compared to here. Store was clearly understaffed, only one human for checkout which had a long line, while the rest is all self-checkout...

So many things locked behind glass. If you're buying something like cough medicine, you need to wait (which will be awhile due to how understaffed) for a human worker to scan your ID card and unlock the self-checkout to let you buy the medicine... What even is the point of self checkout at this point? Seriously, it's OTC cough medicine like theraflu or cough drops, not prescription medications.

Hire more staff, we know you can afford to (and giving them at least a living wage...
