Was planning a memorial table for our fallen classmates for our Dan River High School 50 reunion. Got into Danville on Saturday figured there would be plenty of florist open....wrong! Went to several and were closed. I went into a panic as I was responsible for the arrangement as I didn't want to bring it from Florida. Finally by good luck I found Kim Thornton at the Flower Girl. She welcomed me in like and old friend made exactly what I wanted and was in and out in 15 min. We had a colorful conversation about Danville as I hadn't been back there in 20 years. Made a beautiful arrangement that got raves at my reunion. Very professional and great price! If I lived in Danville would be the only florist I would use....

Wonderful experience despite a difficult time for our family. Kim was compassionate and completely committed to ensuring our family was satisfied with the arrangements she created for our mom’s funeral. She listened to our requests and our preferences, used her own creative expression, and created multiple arrangements that exceeded our expectations.
